Enchanted on Twitter [Malum]

It was late at night, 2 in the morning to be exact and Calum couldn't sleep. He was tossing and turning restlessly. He didn't know why he couldn't sleep, usually it came easily to him but tonight it was the opposite. He already looked through all three of his twitter accounts, he looked through their tumblr too. He even tried to put headphones in and listened to music to see if that would distract him. It didn't.

Finally he gave up and decided to make a tea downstairs hoping that would ease him. So he quietly tiptoed down the hall and made his way down the stairs in the dark. He could see the glow of the television in their living room so he figured someone else was up too but he decided to head to the kitchen first.

He turned on the light that was above the sink so it wasn't too bright. Calum found the kettle and filled it with water and then plugged it in and turned it on. While he waited he took out his phone and brought up his Michael fan account.

It was true, Michael was always on his mind, he was the reasons for the songs Calum wrote, he was the reason Calum found himself having cold showers often. The boy always brought a smile to Calum's face.

It wasn't much longer for the kettle to go off signalling the water was ready so Calum grabbed a mug for the cupboard and got a chamomile teabag. He quickly made up his tea and then decided to go see who was up this late.

Calum should have guessed really because it didn't come to a surprise when he walked into the living room to see Michael with an Xbox controller in his hand, tongue sticking out in concentration. The boy didn't even take his eyes off the screen when Calum sat down beside him.

"What are you doing up?" Michael whispered.

"Couldn't sleep, what are you doing up?" Calum questions back.

"I'm always up this late." Michael shrugs as he continues the game on the screen. "Why couldn't you sleep?"

"If I knew that don't you think I'd have figured it out and stopped it?" Calum snapped. He couldn't help it, he was tired but he just couldn't sleep so he blew on his tea before taking a sip.

"It was just a question." Michael grumbled under his breath.

"I'm sorry." Calum mumbled out an apology.

"It's fine." Michael tells him.

And then the two sat in silence, Calum sipping his tea and watching the television while Michael played. Often Calum would join Michael in video games but he would rather watch. He loved seeing Michael get so frustrated and the concentration on his face, although it was hard to tell by the darkness in the room.

Once Calum finished his tea he set the mug down on the coffee table and curled up into the couch. Maybe the distraction of the game would put him to sleep. His feet were touching the side of Michael's thigh but that couldn't be helped, they were tall boys plus the couch wasn't that big but Michael didn't seem to mind. So Calum focused on the game and he found himself drifting off.

Calum woke up the next morning to an arm around his waist and a blanket covering them but more importantly to the sound of a camera clicking and then a notification ding from his phone. He was a tad disoriented he had no idea what was happening. Whoever was behind him remained sleeping. He opened his eyes to see Luke standing above them with his phone out.

"Morning!" Luke sing songed.

"Uhm?" Calum sounding confused.

"You guys look cute together." Luke motions his arms to Calum and the guy behind him. Which makes him look around and his eyes widen at the sight of Michael Clifford and that's when last night's memories came swimming back. He was watching Michael play a video game, however he didn't remember Michael coming over to cuddle after he was finishing. He must have really been in a deep sleep. Calum pulled Michael's arm off of him so he could sit up. He reached for his phone and saw the notification.

"Luke why would you do that?" Calum asks.

"What? It's cute!"

"People are going to think something is up." Calum tells him.

"No they're not! You guys cuddle all the time, it's not new Calum." Luke points out and Calum sighs in defeat, it is true, it's not the first time there's been a photo of the two of them cuddled up together.

Michael started to groan behind Calum.

"Why are people talking? It's too early for people to be talking?" Michael says in his deep morning voice and Calum could have moaned at the sound of it, but of course he didn't and couldn't.

"It's 11. It's not too early." Luke says.

"It's early when you went to bed at 4." Michael retorts.

"Well then stop staying up all night playing video games." Luke shrugs and then leaves the room before Michael could throw something at him.

"Can you stand up so I can get up?" Michael asks Calum in a grouchy voice. He knew Michael didn't like being woken up so he quickly did as he said in order to upset him.

Once Michael got up Calum fell back down on the couch. He was left alone in the room. He couldn't believe he slept with Michael. Michael had his arms around him. It made Calum's heart warm and he wanted to talk about it so he grabbed his phone again and went onto his fan account. He retweeted and favourited the band's tweet before tweeting about it.

Of course he only said that because he couldn't exactly be like 'oh my god cuddling with Michael last night was so amazing', yeah that wouldn't work.

He got a few retweets off of his tweets and a few more followers. He was really proud of himself for making this account.

Calum was off in his dream world when he received a notification for his fan account;

And Calum's mouth dropped, he didn't even mention Michael in the tweet. He hopes this is a one time thing. But who knew how wrong he would be.
