The boys were in an interview talking about their second album that had recently been released. They loved talking about music, it was their passion, and Calum loved the way Michael spoke about it, the emotion in his voice. So that's how he found himself with his elbows on the table his hands cupping his face as he stared at the beautiful boy, mainly Calum was just watching Michael's lips move. He loved those lips. Of course it didn't go unnoticed as Ashton nudged Calum to shake him out of his staring. He quickly mumbled an apology before turning back to the interview.

"So boys what's next?" The woman asks.

"Just promoting the album and then a world tour." Luke answers her.

"You guys are so busy do you have any time for girls?"

"Uhm." Calum spills out.

"Oh sorry, or boys?" The woman quickly fixes her question.

"Well I mean we hang out with girls or boys, but we don't exactly have time for actually settling down into a relationship at the moment." Ashton informs her.

"Of course, so we ask everyone this question that comes into the station, who is your celebrity crush?"

"Selena Gomez." Luke answers rather quickly and then blushes. It's been a few years he's had a crush on her and that hasn't gone away.

"Hayley Williams" Ashton tells her.

"Well as a girl Jessica Alba from 2007, and uhm a boy...hmm Ryan Reynolds." Michael adds after some thought.

"Mi--Dylan O'brien!" Calum almost slips up but he says Dylan louder than the first part so he hopes no one heard him.

They finished the interview with a few more closing words about the album and then they were free to go. They took off the headphones for the radio station and then they were all put into a van. Calum was sat in the back with Ashton whereas Luke and Michael were up front. They were all pretty tired it was an early morning radio interview so all were still kind of sleepy. Calum as usual pulled out his phone and went on his personal twitter.

Calum couldn't exactly favourite that tweet on his personal so he went onto his fan one and did it. Inside he was squealing over the fact Michael called him babe. Every once in awhile Michael would call Calum a pet name and it warmed his heart.

He figured that would be enough for the day on that account, he was just expressing his love. So Calum sat back and looked out the window as they drove home.

Five minutes later he felt his phone vibrate so he look at it and saw a text.

Ashton: so you gonna tell me how you like Michael or nah?

Calum: I don't know what you're talking about

Ashton: Fine, I'll talk to you later tonight

Calum looked down at his phone at that text, he doesn't understand what the big deal is, he doesn't understand why Ashton needs to talk about it with him. He can hear Luke and Michael laughing up front and it makes him frown. He loves hearing Michael laugh but when it's because of something he has said. Yes, he's jealous of Luke even though he knows Luke is straight. Calum just puts in some headphones in his ears and blares music ignoring the world and wanting this day over with.

It was midnight and everyone was fast asleep all in their respective rooms. Calum was curled up in a ball hugging his pillow when Ashton crept into his room. Ashton is tired of watching Calum fall for Michael more and more without anyone to talk to so he took it upon himself. So Ashton gently got onto Calum's bed and shook his shoulder to wake him up. Calum of course groaned and just pulled the blanket tighter. Ashton shook him again.

"Mikey babe stop." Calum mumbled in his sleep. Ashton smirked.

Ashton then decides to sit on Calum so he puts his knees on either side of Calum's hips as he straddles him.

"Wakey wakey." He pokes Calum's cheeks.

"Michael get off of me."

"It's not Michael." Ashton says a bit louder and Calum jerks awake and almost screams when he sees Ashton sitting on him but Ashton is quick to put a hand to Calum's mouth. "Shhh."

"What the fuck are you doing?" Calum said but Ashton couldn't understand him because his hand muffled his voice so Calum pulled the hand off of him, "what are you doing?"

"I told you I was going to talk to you tonight, it's night so here I am."

"Ugh go to sleep Ashton."

"Nope come on the other two are sound asleep now is the perfect time." Ashton tells him and turns on Calum's lamp that's beside his bed. Calum groans.

Ashton got off of him and sat criss cross on the bed. He waited for Calum to wake up a bit more, for someone who went to bed an hour ago he sure got into a deep sleep. So Calum sat up and rested his back against the headboard waiting for Ashton to start talking.

"So you like Michael eh?" Is the first thing that Ashton says and it causes Calum to blush.

"Ashton this isn't new..."

"What do you mean?"

"I've liked him for years, I've been in love with him for years, he's literally all I think about, why do you think I've never been on a date before?" Calum questions.

Ashton is flabbergasted, he didn't think it was this serious he just thought it was a silly recent crush.

"Have you told him how you feel?" Calum shakes his head no, "why not? He could feel the same way."

"Why would he like me? All he has ever seen in me is a best friend since year 3. That's all I'll ever be."

"Calum if you don't tell him you're going to regret it." Ashton tells him.

"I don't want to get rejected." Calum sniffles and he couldn't believe he was crying over this.

"Hey hey don't cry." Ashton pulls him into a hug, "I promise I won't say anything and if you ever need to talk to someone about it I'm here, I won't tell Luke."

"Thanks. Maybe I'll tell him one day but for right now I'll just sit on the sidelines."

Ashton looked like he wanted to say more but he didn't, instead he decided on letting Calum get back to sleep. So that's what he did, they said good night and Ashton left Calum to his thoughts because how is he supposed to fall back asleep now?

And Calum just left it at that before siding to his fan account one last time.

He turned his phone off, shut his lamp off and fell back asleep. Of course he missed the notification that popped up
