A night in the woods

Sakura's POV:

I woke to the smell of burning wood, I opened my eyes to see complete darkness except from where a fire on my left side was.

I turned over to see sasuke looking at me, sat on a log. I got up and sat next to him on the log. "I'm glad to see you are awake." He told me.

'Huh?' I thought to myself as I couldn't remember what happened. I looked back on myself before I woke up and then remembered everything. "Sasuke saved me?!" I said out loud as my thoughts question his actions.

"Are you having trouble remembering?" He asked as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"No, I'm fine..." Tears formed and dripped down my face as I remembered what naruto said to me 'You're the weakest person I've ever seen and you cant even get yourself way of this as you're shit at escape justu!! STUPID!'

"Sakura!?" As voice became more concerned.

"No....I'm fine." As I began to wipe away the tears and convince sasuke that I was okay. Sasuke then placed his finger on my face and wiped away a tear as he stroked down my cheek. "...sasuke?!" As he stayed holding my face.

"Sakura..." As he turned my face to look directly into his eyes "...I need to tell you something..."

"Huh..?" As I didn't understand what he was saying. I looked closely in his eyes to see them sparkling black in the moonlight.

"...I love you!" He pronounced.

"What...?!" I shouted out, as confused as ever.

"Ever since naruto left the village, you've began to become sadder so I began to hang around with you more and now...I can express my true feelings towards you."

"Sasuke.." As I placed my hand on hands and held his hand closer to my face and rubbed it on my face. A bright smile lifted up on sasuke's face, a smile that I have never seen before.

"I wish to kiss you..." As he stated clearly into to my eyes with a sense of longing in them. I nodded my head softly as I slightly leaned my neck out with my eyes closed.

The next thing I knew, his lips was pressed against mine.
