Itachi x naruto: hold me in your arms

Sasuke&sakura's plan

Gaara's POV:

"Lord gaara, ninja from the leaf village wish to speak with you."

"Enter!" As I shouted so they would be able to hear from behind the door.

"Gaara..." I heard a familiar male voice say as I looked up to see if I was correct on who it was.

"Sasuke.. Sakura... What are you here for?" I asked.

"We believe that you know of naruto's situation at the moment?" Sasuke questioned.

"Yes, he left the village and joined the akatsuki."

"Yea, well... We need your help to get naruto back, he's too far gone for us to save him." Sakura said.

"The village wants naruto back as he is the nine tails and as he has hurt the village so he needs to pay for what he has done." Sasuke added.

"I will help...what do you want me to do?"

Naruto's POV:

"Morning itachi."

"Morning, sorry I left early, I got hungry and got breakfast."

"It's okay, I'm hungry too!" With a great smile on my face.

"That's good as I has made you some too."

"Really?!" As I jumped towards him to see a table full of food with every colour on every dish different from the one next to it. "Wow!"

"Today we have a mission." Itachi said as I shovelled all the food I could intake.

"Where?" As I continued eating my food whilst talking.

"One of Orochimaru's old hideouts, near the hidden sand."

Just hearing the hidden sand made me think of gaara, I stop eating as my smile began to frown. Imagine me accidentally finding gaara. What would he do? What would I do? Does he know I have left the lead yet? Or maybe the lead kept it quiet so no one knew they don't have a jinchuuriki?

Itachi placed his hand on my shoulder "are you okay?" I questioned me as I looked up into his soul-stealing eyes.

"Yea, just thinking about some old memories of the sand village..." As I went back to eating my food.
