Chapter sixteen

~Keaton's pov~

"You should've worn a dress. The wedding would have been more sexy!" Amanda Grins.

"I'm not a girl!" I snap.

"You will be." She laughs.

Rolling my eyes, I lean against Ally's truck waiting for him to tug down our bags from the apartment.

"But really, the wedding was so romantic!" Amanda puts her hands together and sighs with a smile.

I smile and lift my hand to twirl the ring around my finger. "We're going to the beach for our honey moon. Linda's father is looking after the bakery while I'm gone."

"Oh Linda, I saw her at the wedding. She looked wonderful!"

Looking to her I grin. "She's a tuff old bat. The gun shot hardly did a thing."

"It's hard to believe its already been a year." She whispers. "And Alexander's mother dying a week later. Horrible."

Frowning, I nod. "It was horrible. Remember afterwards? All the family's cooked meals and delivered them at our house in thanks for a month!"

Amanda smiles. "Alex quit the police after that. It's adorable with him working with you in the bakery. I bet you have sex in the kitchen all the time."

I blush. "Amanda. I'm still a virgin. For the most part. Ally and I have never had sex, and after Justin, It took a while for me to even feel right being sexual with him."

Her eyes soften and she hugs me. "How is it now?"

Wrapping my arms around her, I push my face into her hair. "Most of the time it's perfect, but sometimes I feel as if I'll never compare to Justin."

Something warm presses up behind me. "You'll never compare because you're so much better." Ally whispers. "Are you ready?"

My heart pounds and his words from hours ago echo through me.

'I do'

Smiling, I squeeze from Amanda and turn to him. "I am."

Amanda giggles and steps back. "Have fun!"

Arriving at our hotel, I'm excited to see its beautiful.

Our king sized bed faces a large window, with the view of the ocean. The walls are painted gold with matching carpet. Turning, I watch Ally drag in the last luggage and collapse onto the bed.

Grinning, I craw over him and peck his lips. "You did good finding a hotel! I love it."

He grins. "Lets order food and wine. Fanciness for thy bride?"

Looking out the window to see the darkening sky, I decide it's too late to enjoy the beach. "Sure. Lets eat."

He orders quickly then grabs the TV remote before turning on the TV. He leaves it on some random show before getting comfortable on the bed.

Bored, I decide to explore our room. A dresser sits on a wall with a door to the bathroom. The TV sits on top of the dresser at a comfortable height.

Dragging my hand against the wall, I make my way to the bathroom and squeal. The large bathroom has a two person shower, large bathtub, and a sink. But the tub is what captures my attention. Small jets are installed on the inside and a panel of buttons are on the edge.

Turning on the water, I change it till its warm and wonder to the sink. Multiple small bottles of shampoo, soap and lotion stand close to the mirror.
