Nightmare

Ash's POV

She looked so defenseless when she cried. I never want her to cry ever again.

What was she dreaming about? Was it about her past? Was it about me? Was it something that bothers her? I don't know...and I can't do anything about it.

I managed to wake her up, but it took like an hour to stop her to cry.

I looked at Serena, she was staring at the ground and mumbling something. "Serena?" She didn't respond, I tried shaking her, but she didn't look up.

I had no choice, but to ask "what was your dream about? From the looks of you it must be a really bad nightmare" She finally looked up and she began to tremble like she saw a ghost (Author's note: maybe she did see a ghost. You know, because she's psychic -_-)

"Ash..." Serena whispered, she looked terrified. "You can tell me" I reassured her.

"My nightmares....it can only occur if it's about my love ones" She added "but...only if they're alive" my eyes widened "did you dream about Misty and the others?" She nodded.

"If only I knew then..." Serena began to cry "I would have been with them, but instead just left them..." her voice was a mixture of relief, anger, and worry, I don't know why though.

Once again she's crying, I hate it when she cries."If we find them....I d-d-don't know....if they think of me as the same a-a-again" She kept on stuttering, but I manage to understand what she meant.

How is that possible? Dreaming about your alive loved ones, I actually feel what she's afraid of. Being an outcast, and being described as not one of us.

"Don't worry Serena I'll be there for you" I gave her a smile, she looked at me, but little did I know she was gonna hug me.

"Thank you" Serena smiled oh I love her smile.

Serena's POV

How dense can he be?? Can't he see I'm actually hugging him??!*sigh* nevermind as long as he's here I'm ok.

I can feel his breathe touching my skin, but I think he's mumbling something, but I can't hear what he's saying.

Ash's POV

"I love you" I mumbled, but she didn't respond, I guess she didn't hear it.

"Anyway we should go" Serena broke the hug. "Where are we going?" I asked, but she just giggled "how's being the Kalos Champion?" I face palmed how did she know about me being the champion?

"Well I can hear thoughts silly,but only if I want to" Serena explained. I need to be careful now, because she might hear what I'm thinking "Yeah you should" Serena playfully said "Could you stop that" I pleaded which cause Serena to giggle.

More of her secrets have been revealed, but if she says what I think it means then everytime she gets a nightmare then that means it's telling her something whether it's good or bad.
