I Can't Live Without You

Heyyo! So Umm yeah like I said this book is about to end, so I'm trying to make more enjoyable to read and such. Anyway enjoy this chapter

Ash'sPOV

I woke up and saw Arceus standing in front of me, I heard some groaning on both of my sides.

Arceus looked at us and a tear ran down from its eyes "Arceus? What happened? Did we fail? Did we die?" Misty asked "No...you did die, but Serena wished for you all to be resurrected" Arceus spoke "Hey where's Serena?" Dawn asked "I'm afraid.....she died for the world" We all gasped and Dawn and the others began to cry.

She died? I couldn't protect her.....I just couldn't protect her.....why?! Why?! I waited for 4 years! And....now...she's...she's....gone....

"Serena was made for a purpose, she was meant to be killed after the battle" We all looked at him with a shocked expression "So you mean?" He nodded "Yes, she was gonna die along with Lysandre" I clenched my fist "So your saying that the love of my life was just brought to this world just to be killed when she finishes her job here?!" He nodded "You sick bastar*! You have no idea how painful to accept this! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME!" I snapped

Gary and the others held me back from attacking Arceus, I just couldn't accept what he said, I just..couldn't

Arceus used Psychic on us and we flew towards him.

"You wanna see her? Even though she won't be able to see you?" We nodded, Arceus teleported us to a place where there were people that had wings and they were having fun.

I saw Serena dancing with a man with honey blonde hair, she was laughing, smiling, and having fun with him. The man was happy too, could it be that he's her father?

"I really miss you Papa" Serena smiled while being twirled by her father "Me too Serena, I jus hope we will be complete again" Her father said

I could feel tears building up, she was so happy in the world, but happier here. I guess I should accept it....for her.

"She's so happy " Dawn sobbed "Yeah, she is" I rub a tear out off my eyes and smiled for her...for her..

"Lysandre's plan was to change this world with the help of Serena, you see he was also Psychic, but evil consumed his heart and that was reason I created Serena. His plan was to kill every Pokemon and humans who has bullied him and treated him like dirt. Can you imagine a world without Pokemon?" We shook our heads

"The world wouldn't be the same. Resources in that world are very limited. Magikarps would be replaced with things called fishes. Miltanks would be replace with creatures called cows. Everything there would be expensive. People would make stories about Pokemon and show it to the world through Internet. Can you imagine this kind of world?" We all shook our heads "It sound terrifying!" Dawn exclaimed and we nodded in agreement.

A world without Pokemon is a world I can't live in. What would happen to me then? Will things change when Lysandre's plan succeeded? Will Serena still be here?

"You should be greatful, Serena's one last wish was for you to be revived she could have just wished for her to stay in this world, but she chose you instead of herself." We all bowed our heads and tears ran down our faces

"Ash Ketchum, she had a message for you" I looked at Serena who was looking at my direction like she was able to see me, she got closer and closer and extended her hand, I too was trying to reach for her hand until "Serena? Where are you going?" Serena turned her head towards her father "I thought I saw someone, but it was nothing" she then ran back to her father and began playing with him again.

Tears continued to flow and I couldn't take it anymore "I just can't live without her....I just...can't" I collapsed and fell on the clouds, Arceus looked at me with pity "You really love her.." I nodded and continued to cry "Well her message to you all..."

I just wish for you all to be happy
Don't be sad that I died
To cry for my disappearance
I knew that this was gonna happen anyways
Ever since I was a kid, I fought alone
And I thought that this time things would be different, but I was wrong
This was my fault that you all died
So my last ever wish is for you all to be revived and to live life without despair and sorrow, I want you all to forget my absence
I want you all to forget that I even existed
I know it's hard, but you won't be happy if I ever stayed.
More pain will come when I'm around
More sorrow and despair you guys will experience when I'm alive
It is for the best if I stayed dead, because being psychic hurts your feelings.

And Ash don't cry for me

Don't feel powerless without me
You are by far the strongest person that I ever met
You never gave up
Make sure to be Champion for me

We all cried louder and louder, she did this for us? She did something that was so selfless for us to be happy. She......I...can't live without you Serena...I just can't...

"You all really love and care for her?" Arceus asked "We loved her! She's our family! We just can't move on just like that!" We all exclaimed "I see...." He mumbled

"Then there is a way to bring her back, but she has to agree with the plan" Arceus said, I looked at her and she was looking directly at me

"Ash.....?"

Serena's POV

Is that Ash? No...it can't be....

I ran towards him and what I thought was just my imagination was true it was Ash

"Ash, what are you doing here?" He was trying to say something, but I couldn't hear him "I can't understand you" I tried holding his hand, but my hand just passed his.

Another figure appeared right infront of me, Arceus "He wants you to come back to them" He said "But....I would just bring trouble...I don't want to hurt them..." I muttered, Arceus let out a chuckle and he surrounded my body with a white light.

I slowly opened my eyes and I saw with Arceus and nobody else.

"Child, you mean so much to them. They showed me their love towards you. It's what we call true love, I can revive you, but the price to pay is that your powers will be no more." My eyes widened and my body stiffened "No more?" He nods "Yes, and I think it's for the best after all they just can't forget about after what you did" I slightly smiled "What about them?" I asked "They too shall have their powers remove" I bowed my head "Serena, daughter of Arceus, protector of the world they won't hesitate to give up anything just for you. Especially Ash" I chuckled "Their one of a kind.....baka...." I mumbled

Ash's POV

Arceus explained to us the price to pay if we want her back, we all looked at each other and nodded "We would gladly give our powers up just for her!" Arceus nodded "Very well" a strange aura surrounded us and it was absorbing our powers, Serena began to reappear once again, but this time she was able to see all of us "Ash?" She called out "Serena!" I ran up to her and gave a warm hugged followed by everyone.

"You guys are idiots" she sobbed "Yeah, but we're your idiots" We said "You truly are one of a kind" Arceus smiled

"Well shall we go?" I extended my hand for her to grab, but she looked at her father and a tear ran down her cheek "Someday Papa we will be complete" she uttered as she grabbed my hand and intertwined it.

Arceus opened a portal for us to enter as we enter the portal hand by hand.

The only I thought about was

I just can't live without her
