Chapter 13. I Don't Hate You

I wake up feeling like a mess. I stand up from the couch running my hand through my hair I look outside from the window and it's a lil dark outside and raining a lil too. I look on the watch it's past 7.

I slept whole day? That's weird.
I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!!" I say as I walk in the bathroom.

"Sahiba? You Feeling better?!!" I hear a voice and it's Sartaj 's

I wash my face and walk out of the bathroom "huh?" I asked him

"Your head was hurting. right?" He said raising his eyebrows

"Oh yeah! Its better now!!" I told him. I lied to them when they all came in my room earlier. I told them I need to take a nap because my head hurts. But I wanted to be alone and wasn't in a mood of having a nice little party.

"Dinner is ready! you didn't eat your lunch today! Let's go!!" Sartaj ordered

"Okay!!" I say and we walk downstairs I saw Riaz, Heena, Aisha and faiz in dining room.

"Hey how's your head? Heena asked as I sit next to her.

"She is better now! Let's eat! I'm starving!" Sartaj snapped

Everybody is laughing and eating but there was a akward silence between me and faiz.

After we finished the dinner I start to walk downstairs.

"Hey you are not joing us for coffee?" Riaz called from behind

I turned back "No! You guys enjoy!" And continue walking.

I came back in my room stay there few minutes but I wasn't feeling good I knew where I can feel better in this house.

I open the terrace door and look. It was empty and quite.
But I feel peace here there's no one else! Just me and my thoughts.

Its a lil cold because it was raining a while ago. I'm standing by railing and looking down at the garden I rub my hands together. I remember the time when we used play as kids in this garden lots of fights, lots of games, lots of laughs with lots of memories.

I found a smile on my face and suddenly the terrace door got opened make me jump I turned my head to look who is it? And socked it's.. Faiz!!!

"YOU?"
"YOU?" We both yelled at the same time looking at each other socked

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

Again on the same timing same words came from our mouths. I waited few moments for answer but didn't reply so I turned back to the railing and stand there.

After a minute or two he stand beside me and held the railing. There was a silence I can only hear the wind.

"It Belongs to my friend!!" Faiz said softly looking straight

"Huh? What are you talking about?" I question him raising my eyebrows.

"The shirt!! It belongs to my friend and he..-he died almost 2 months ago!!" My eyes got wide when I hear his reply. Oh my god I felt so sorry for him and angry at myself

"Oh God! And I ruined it! I'm so sorry I didn't knew that!! I'm so stupid!" I said. Godd that's why he was so angry wth

"No, it's okay! We were friends for last four years! He was my classmate, my roommate and my best friend!!" I can hear the pain in his voice.

I dont know what i should say to him finally I open my mouth "How did he died?"

Faiz looked at me "a car accident!! We used to tell each other everything and one day he was gone! Long gone!! I try not to show but sometimes I really miss him so I just take a look at his things that have and it reminds me of the memories I have with him" I listen to every word that came out of his mouth.
