10 years have passed since you left for England, with only small vacations in Japan throughout those 10 years, and now you were moving back home for good. Your family was ecstatic with your decision the moment you told them and have been preparing ever since.
"Welcome home (First Name)-sama," the maids greeted you as you arrived at your family's mansion. Everything almost looked the same, only a few new curtains and vases here and there but it was still like the home you left back then. You smiled kindly at the maids and to the butlers who carried your things as thanks but froze to see and hear your father and a red haired young man descending from the second floor.
"Sweetheart! You're home!" (Father's Name) smiled happily, excusing himself from Seijuro and quickening his pace to you to engulf you in a hug.
You hugged back but as you did, your eyes met a pair of red eyes; both red not mismatched. Could it be? No, you did not want to hope in vain. "Father" you kissed your father's cheek then smiled at him "Akashi-kun," was your greeting.
Akashi Seijuro faltered in his steps with how you called him. You saw momentary pain but it was gone in a flash. Must be my imagination
"We should get coffee together; You, Seijuro and I. ( 2nd Eldest Brother's Name) would love to join us too," your father suggested. You frowned at the thought of spending time with the Akashi heir.
"Maybe another time Father. I am still tired from my flight," you gave him a weak smile.
"Tomorrow then?" Seijuro asked, prompting himself to join the conversation.
"I'll be unpacking, Akashi-kun,"
"Day after tomorrow?" he raised an eyebrow.
This continued on with your father looking back and forth between you two in amusement. Familiarity spread in your chest, on how you bickered with Seijuro like this back then. But it was all in the past now.
"Thursday then. And you don't have any more excuses (First Name)," Seijuro smirked in triumph as you ran out of things to say.
"Fine whatever" you growled and walked passed him, with the butlers who were carrying your bags following you swiftly; leaving the red head smirking.
'You're not going to ignore me anymore (First Name). You've changed and so have I. But you will be mine again'
