Dan's POV
As me and Nikki were trying to find a hiding spot from the hunters, I was already freaking out. I thought vampire hunters were a myth but I guess not since as myself being like this monster roaming the streets of L.A. I needed to get away from here as far away as possible . But I can't leave Nikki behind. I need her with me at all times. She is my everything to me. And I can't let these hunters find me and capture me, taking me away from Nikki. But I must fight back for her protection and for our love together. I just need to try and keep her by my side at all times. "Dan, whats going to happen to us?" she asked. I looked at my wound from where they hit me and I kept thinking to myself, what if this happened to her as well? "I don't know, my love. But I won't let these hunters take you away from me." She held me close and I held her back. As we found my little hiding spot behind my closet, we climbed inside and shut the door. We just need to wait it out. The hunters can't find me in here cause it is sound proof. Hope they don't take her away and kill me. "Where are you, blood sucker?!?!" A voice was heard very loud. It was one of them and started to feel brave. I stayed quiet and held Nikki close to me. We waited for him to leave the room but i still heard his footsteps. I think he may not be leaving until he finds us. "Dan, I think it's over for the both of us." Then the door opened and everything went black.
