Ch.14- Home

-Nikki's POV-

"Dan! Help me!!" I saw them hit Dan to the round and he isn't moving. Please don't die Dan. As they were taking me, I felt of what they will do with me? "Take her outside. She can be safe out there." The leader says. His friends take me outside and make me sit on the curb. "Get your hands off of me!"I yanked my arms off of me and looked at them. "It's OK. You're safe right now. We're helping you. You can't trust him." What? I do trust him. I trust him throughout my life and I love him. "Why can't I trust Daniel? What happened that he isn't telling me fully?" One of them sat down next to me and gave me a concerned look. "You wanna know about him?" I nodded. "Years ago, we were hunting him down these past 30 years. He has dated other girls like you but when he is bored with his mate, he kills them. This is why were taking you home in the U.S. You'll be safe there. I promise." I felt tears forming in my eyes. He...kills girls if he is bored of his mate? But I survived longer than the others. Has Dan found the right mate for him to love everyday of his immortal life? "I'm sorry but he is too dangerous when your around him. We are very deeply sorry about this." I can't believe this shit! "What about my stuff?" As I said, that, their leader came out with three suitcases with my stuff inside. "Let's go before he wakes up." They grab my hand and pull me to their van. I climbed in and sat down behind the passenger side. Then, they started to put my things in the trunk. "Can I at least say bye to him?" I questioned. They shake their heads. I sighed and lays back in my seat. As everyone was in, the vehicle started moving and going towards the airport. I already am scared of Dan hurting and possibly killing me. I hope that I am safe before he goes for the bait.

-Dan's POV-

I woke up still in the secret room in the closet. I shook my head and looked around. I didn't see Nikki anywhere at all. I panicked and ran outside and saw the van leaving and I smelled her scent in there. They took her away from me. I need her back right now. I started to run towards the van and thinking it was going towards the airport, taking her to the U.S. I can't let that happen to her. "Hold on, Nikki. I'm coming to take you back." I sped down with my vamp speed and got to the airport before them.
