I put Toothiana's present in my pocket, grinning. I finally found the perfect gift. It was a bit out of my budget, but Alex didn't mind lending me some money.

Toothiana knocked on the window. "Knock, knock." She laughed.

I smiled opening the window. "You can always just come in."

"I know." She slid in. "I'm just trying not to seem too eager."

"I thought I was the eager one." I nose kissed her.

She nose kissed me back and we flew to the palace. This time only a few fairies ogled at me, but only one smiled and fanned herself before flying away with orders from Toothiana. She turned to me, kissing my cheek. "So what do you want to do first?"

I looked at the setting sun, trying to remember what I planned. "Can we go the pond with the mural next to it?"

Toothiana nodded and took my hand, flying to the location. She followed me to the water and I placed a few small paper boats on the water. "That's so cute."

I smiled. "While it can float. The water will soak and sink the boats."

"It's still cute." Toothiana smiled at me.

I got on my knees and tried to poke one of the boats, but I slid and fell into the water.

"Damian!" Toothiana's eyes were wide.

I laughed and pulled Toothiana in with me. She immediately flew out of the water with my jacket, laughing. I pulled her in again and kissed her. She looked back at my jacket, which was now on the dry ground. "What about your jacket?"

I kissed her. "It's fine." I kissed her again.

She wrapped her arms around as I pulled us into the water. We shared intense kisses. All I could hear was our movement. It felt like Toothiana and I were falling in the sky in each other's arms. I started losing my breath and surfaced. Toothiana laughed, splashing some water in my face. I laughed and splashed water in her face. My eyes widened as she turned around and used her wings to splash a large amount of water in my face. The water pushed me back and I quickly had to resurface. Toothiana laughed.

I grinned. "Okay, you win." I climbed onto the dry ground.

Toothiana sat next to me, resting her head on my shoulder. I kissed her head and looked at the setting sun. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small rose made of ruby and emerald. She gasped as I placed it in her hand. She sat up from my shoulder. "It's beautiful."

I smiled and pulled out eight rings made of ruby. "I, uh... I didn't know which finger you preferred to wear a ring on, so I bought a ring for every single one." I lowered my head, smiling. "Eight fingers, so everything except thumbs."

Toothiana laughed lightly and picked up a ring, placing it on her ring finger. She looked at her hand with a wide smile. "It's beautiful." She kissed me. "Thank you." Her feathers puffed as her eyes widened. She picked up another ring and pressed it to her head. She kissed it and placed it on her other ring finger. She smiled at me and held my hand. "I have something for you too." She took her presents, picked up my jacket, and we flew to an area covered with trees. She pushed a few branches out of the way as we made our way to a clearing. There was a small tunnel ahead and I was about to take a step towards it.

Toothiana placed a hand on my chest. "Wait here." She flew over to a large tree root and moved with bird-like movement around the root. She moved to another one and did the same. "Oh! There it is." She looked at me. "Close your eyes."

I smiled and closed my eyes.

I heard her wings move closer. "Now open them."

I opened my eyes and saw Toothiana holding a square box. On top of the tiny box was a gold tooth with the letter D engraved in it.
