Toothiana placed two small paper boats on the pond. She sighed as she placed the second one on the water. A fairy flew to her, chirping slowly. She weakly smiled and flew with the fairy back to the center of the palace. She was minding her own business as usual, ordering the smaller fairies and making sure that every thing was in order. She hardly noticed me, so I stepped forward.
I grinned. "It's been a long time, Toothiana. In fact it's been almost a century hasn't it?"
She turned to me, gasping. "Pitch."
I bowed. "Hello, your majesty. You know, there's something I can't quite put my finger on about you."
Her eyes narrowed at me. "What do you want?"
I grinned taking slow steps toward her. "Just a female guardian's opinion of this." I quietly laughed. "That's all."
She flew back with every step I took. The smaller fairies glared at me.
I looked at the platform below her then at her eyes. "Slowly moving back really does nothing." I appeared behind her, gently grabbing her shoulders. The fairies began to screech and panic as I whispered in her ear. "This, however, probably does a lot more."
Her words were unsteady. "What do you want?"
I laughed quietly. "I want to know why you, of all the guardians, haven't fallen in love yet. After all, North married and Bunnymund lost his love. I actually was beginning to think you and Jack would hit it off, but that didn't work because you said you weren't truly in love with him." I paused. "Why haven't you fallen in love, Toothiana?" I grinned, spotting a ruby ring on her finger. I caressed her cheek. "Or is it that you already have fallen in love?"
She tried to elbow me and I appeared on another platform.
I stared at her with my hands behind my back. "I couldn't help but notice the lovely ring you're wearing. Did someone give you that?" I grinned.
Toothiana's eyes narrowed at me. "I don't know who it was."
I paused, realizing she was telling the truth. "It'd be best if you find out. That poor boy's heart will be broken if you don't remember him."
She tilted her head a bit. "You know where he is?"
I smiled. "You feared me finding someone, but you can't recall the face or the name. Let me guess, you deleted a few of the memories so he would be safe. His location, his face, and his very own name... gone." I grinned. "How sad he would be to know that he's become a blur."
Toothiana glared at me. "I wouldn't do something like that."
I smirked at her. "I'll be awaiting the day you fall in love again." I laughed stepping back toward a shadow. "Let's hope it's desperately and more known."
