GUESS WHOS GOT 2000 READS. THIS GIRL. So happy for all your support, comments votes. A special big shout out to TechTwin2 who was the first person to comment and to this day still continues to read this story. (even though there's the occasional delay in updates)
After talking to Honey I had soon fallen asleep and before I knew it morning had come. The sound of a horn was what caused me to open my eyes.
“Miss Karin, their waiting for you” Allie called as she hurried past my door. I frowned before getting up and looking out of my window to see the twins leaning out of their window looking expectantly towards my front door. I let out a sigh and quickly through on all my clothes, before finally grabbing my sneakers again.
As I made my way down the stairs I could hear the constant rapping Allie was making on Kairi’s door, and my pace slowed. Even if I was late it was guaranteed that she would be longer. Sure enough I sat with the twins for a good 10 minutes before my sister emerged from our house.
“Do you always take that long?” Hikaru asked not hiding his impatience. My sister gave him a sarcastic smile before sitting in between Karou and I.
“So I guess I finally get to see your school,” she laughed messing up my hair. Whilst our father had wished for her to come with me, Kairi was convinced that to become the best designer she had to take the rocky path so that when her moment of fame came it wasn’t the usual boring story, rather the story of an underdog rising to success because of her raw talent.
“You don’t go to school” Karou asked seeming puzzled. My sister opened her mouth and no doubt began to tell him her life so far as well as her future plans. I however had zoned out and began watching Hikaru. Was my father really going to let me get married so early. It wasn’t as though Hikaru was one of the worst people I could have ended up with, but I hadn’t known him long and as far as my father was concerned hadn’t known him at all.
Hikaru sat still for the most part of the trip, looking out the window and avoiding conversations. Soon enough though he reached out his hand to me and helped me out of the car. Karou gave him a stern look, then turned his attention back to my sister who was looking around in awe. I could barely feel Hikaru’s hand in mine, he was holding on just tight enough that he could guide me around the school.
Some girls gave us sour looks as we made our way through halls, whilst others just acted all mopey. Which I suppose is why I was so surprised later that day when a girl stopped me going into the music room to give me her congratulations. I didn’t even get to say thank you before she bolted off again.
“She’s a strange one” Kyoya mumbled scribbling down notes. I gave him a puzzled look and tugged at his sleeve when he wouldn’t look at me.
“Shouldn’t you be getting changed?” he asked raising his eyebrows at me. I let out a sigh and made my way to the dressing rooms.
Hikaru was waiting there with my dress in his hands. I tried to take it off him but he pulled back,
“You won’t need this anymore, you have a new uniform, its a lot….nicer” with that he dumped it in the bin and left me to change. I walked over to the new dress and took a quick look at it. It was a lot more covered than the other one, which at first I was worried about before realising that now that I was to be married, most men wouldn’t try anything. If there was a positive about the situation it was that.
I walked out with a smile on my face and served all the customers. By now I knew that the girls would have whatever the hosts had, just without any extra toppings like whipped cream. Probably a weight thing.
When I got over to the twins table there was no body there.
“Is something going on?” I asked sitting down next to them. They looked at me with a slight sadness in their eyes,
