So a bit of a long chapter. Apologising in advance for the ending I had a bit of writers block and tried rewritinng it over and over, so as always if you find anything wrong with or have any suggestions email me.

The twins looked at each other before frowning and turning back to me,

“He’s taking care of something.”

My eyes widened,

“He can’t,” the twins put a hand on each shoulder,

“It’s okay Honey sempai can handle him,” they chimed matter of factly. I shook my head.

“Alone yes, but that girl was really strong, even Chika seemed afraid of her earlier today.” The boys both looked up to Mori, who couldn’t have been out the door any sooner. I tried to follow but was stopped by the two hands pulling me back.

“You have to let me go,” I demanded. The boys slowly let go,

“We’ll find the first aid kit and come with you,” I nodded and as soon as they were out of sight bolted out the door.

I retraced the halls I could remember then followed the sound of crashing down a flight of stairs and around a bend into an old science room. Once I entered the room I immediately felt fear. Mori stood just in front of me and wouldn’t let me see in front of him.

“Call an ambulance” he muttered.

“I don’t have my phone I could run and get the twins” I replied trying to peek past him,

He turned around still blocking my sight and looked down at my legs.

“I will. Don’t go in,” he told me firmly before speeding up the stairs.

I sat down on the side of the wall fiddling with my thumbs for a few seconds before my curiosity was killing me. I had to know if Honey was okay. I rounded the corner slowly, and my eyes widened. On the floor there lay a boy whom seemed quite scratched up. There was slight bruising to his arms and a slight cut on the side of his head. It seemed that he had been knocked out

I heard a slight shuffling noise and looked up into the corner to see a small figure leaning up against the window frame,

“Honey are you okay?” I asked quickly running to him. His head bobbed up and down and he looked up at me with dark eyes.

“Chika ran…he said such bad things about you…I scared him” I gave him a tight hug, but pulled away when he winced a little. Turning his attention to the grounds outside he continued.

“I’m such a bad person Karin.” He mumbled, “I hurt him because of things he said, I scared Chika because I was so mad. I’ve never scared him.”

“Honey you’re not a bad person,” I tried to tell him, but he only shook his head,

“I’m selfish….Who am I to punish them, because that’s exactly what I was thinking, I DID want to hurt them. I….They didn’t even hurt you….” I took a step back. Honey sounded so bitter and dark, so unalike the Honey that I had gotten to know.

I tried to think of something to say, something to make it better.

“Defending your friends honour, their dignity. That’s not something to be ashamed of. Friends look out for each other.” The darkness in his eyes faded slightly, but it seemed to be replaced by sadness. Soon the school ambulance team had made their way into the building and took the unconscious boy/girl, and Honey away.

I didn’t see Honey for a while after. He didn’t come to school or the host club. Rumours went around that he was being home schooled and Mori wouldn’t say anything on the subject. It began to depress me and I began to agitate Mori by asking him more and more questions until eventually he gave in.
