Chapter 9

River's P.O.V.

Ryan and I are currently playing Mario Cart on WiiU. I let him win because I don't want to ruin his pride at such a young age.

"Where are the boys? I'm surprised they haven't tracked you down yet." Rain said.

"I'm not sure where they're at. They might have went to go get something to eat. What time is it?"

"Eight o'clock."

"Eight o'clock? I've been here for that long?" I said getting up.

"Yeah, but it was fun. You got hang with Ryan, we got to know each other more, and, the best part of it all, we had food." She smiled really big.

"No! The best part was when we rode in Aunty River's car." Ryan said jumped on my back. And yeah, I told him to start calling me Aunty River. It felt right to me and he feels like a nephew to me. "I'm sorry Rain but I might have to agree with Ryan. I couldn't have had a good time in that car if it wasn't because of him."

Ryan smiled real big and hugged me,"I love you Aunty River." I was shocked and overwhelmed. I started to get ready eyed. "I love you too Ryan." I got him off my back and hugged him in my arms. I swear this kid is just the cutest little thing.

"The bad thing is that I have to go now. I'm gonna miss you so much. I'll come over tomorrow and say goodbye because I have to go back home." I said to Ryan. His smile turned upside down.

"Can't you stay with us?"

"I'm sorry but I can't." He then looked like he was about to cry.

"....but if your mom says yes, you guys can move into my place back in New York." I suggested.

"You mean we can stay with you in New York?" Ryan asked surprised.

"Yep." Ryan ran to his mom. "Can we please go mom? I don't want to stay here. Then we both can be with Aunty River."

"I don't know Ryan. I'll have to think about it." Rain said a little unsure.

"Remember, if someone doesn't like you for who you are or what you have, they don't deserve you. That's a life lesson for you Ryan." I said but it was really meant for Rain. I can tell because she then had a thinking face on.

"Okay, I'll talk to you guys tomorrow. Bye Rain. Bye Ryan." I gave Rain a hug and Ryan a kiss on his cheek and left.

I then got a call. I didn't look to see who it was,"Hello?"

"Where the fuck are you?! I leave just for a second and find all of your things gone out of your room." Daryl said, my step-dad.

"Why do you care?"

"I don't but your mom apparently does. She has been going crazy and threatening me over everything. I put creamer in my coffee and she pulled a knife on me because she didn't want me to use any of the creamer."

"That's what your inconsiderate ass deserves anyways. After all the things you have done to me is finally getting back at you. I only have four words to say to you. Karma. Is. A. Bitch." I said then hung up.

I got in my car and drove back to the hotel. I didn't see any of the guys cars so they must be doing something. I parked and went to the room and took a nap.

***3 Hours Later***(SpongeBob voice)

"Should we throw ice or water in her?" Someone asked.

"I say ice." "I say water." "I say both!"

The next thing I know, water and ice is dumped on me. I woke up from my nap in panic. "What the hell?!" I looked around and say the boys' face turn red and they burst into laughter.

"Oh so you guys think this is funny? I'll show you funny." I started chasing after all of them.

The next thing I know is that I'm running after them down the street leaving the hotel. I tackled Aaron down and the guys laughed. "Get your fat ass off me! I need to run away from you."

"But I already caught you Aaron. There's no point in running anymore." I said.

"Oh yeah. Well get off of me you fat whale!"

I rolled my eyes and got off of him. "Guys we have to leave tomorrow." I announced.

"Wait..is Rain coming with us?" Scott asked.

"Well...um...I'm not sure. She has some things here that she's not sure that she wants to leave."

"I hope she does come."

"Okay but we need to go to bed and make sure we have a bunch of sleep for tomorrow." Toby said.

"Alright."
