Chapter 8

River's P.O.V.

I woke up at around 7:30 on my own. It felt weird because usually I wake up at around 11:00. Maybe I just had a really good sleep last night. I shrugged and just went to the restroom. I took a shower, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I left out the restroom quietly so the boys won't hear me.

I looked around and saw Toby and Aaron cuddled up together. Scott was sprawled out on the floor looking like a dead person. I quietly laughed and left the room without another sound. I texted Rain and asked for her address. She sent it to me and I went to go meet her.

I parked in front of her house and got out my car. I looked at her house and cringed. The house really wasn't fit to have a child in it. It looks like it can break down any second. Maybe I should get her to live with us. It'll be a better living for her and her child. I think about it on my way to her door and ring the doorbell.

"Mommy! Someone's at the door!" I hear a little kids voice tell. I smile.

"Thank you for telling me." I heard Rain say and then the door opens. "Hey River." She greeted and hugged me.

"Hey Rain."

"Come on in."

I went in and saw her little boy, Ryan, playing on the ground with some cars.

"Hey Ryan, do you want meet a friend of mines?" Rain asked him.

"Yeah!" He said enthusiastically.

She picked him up and came back towards me."This is River. River this is Ryan."

"It's nice to meet you Ryan."

"Nice to meet you too. Do you like cars?"

"I love cars. Especially fast ones." He smiled and he wiggled out of his moms arms. He came up to me and grabbed my hand,"Wanna see my car collection?" I nodded my head and he lead me to his room.

It had a race car bed in one corner and a dresser on the opposite wall. A empty wall had shelves full of different cars. From old race cars to the newer sports cars. I even saw my car up there.

"Wow, this is amazing Ryan."

"Thank you. My mom bought these for me. She's the bestest mom in the world."

"I bet she is. Do you want to see my car?" He nodded his head. "Okay but I want you to hold this for me." I grabbed the model of my car and gave it to him to hold.

"Okay, this is my favorite car."

"Cool. Now let's go." This time I grabbed his arm and dragged to the front door. "Okay I'm gonna cover your eyes. Do you trust me?"

He looked at me skeptically for a second. "Yeah...I trust you." I smiled and covered his eyes and guided him to the front of my car.

"On three remove your blindfold. One.....two.....three!" He removed it and his jaw dropped.

"Oh my bob! You actually have the car? These are limited editions."

"Wow you really know your cars. And yeah, this beauty is mine."

"Can we ride in it? Can we? Can we? Please." He asked me jumping up and down.

I laughed,"You have to ask your mom first."

"Okay!" He ran inside. I went to go get the booster seat out of Rain's car because I know she can't say no to Ryan.

Ryan came running back,"She said yes!"

"Great! Get in!" He got in and I put on his seatbelt over the booster seat.

I got in the drivers seat and drove off. I was being extra cautious since I had a kid in the car.

I'm already starting to love this kid.

Scott's P.O.V.

I woke up and saw that River was gone. I texted her to see where she was at and she said she was with Rain. I smiled faintly.

I might have developed a small liking to Rain. She just seems so beautiful and more. I can't say what more is because I don't know her.....yet.

I got up to go to the restroom and do all that hygiene stuff. And yes, I know I'm a guy and I'm not suppose to take showers but I like myself smelling good.

I changed into some blue jeans, a galaxy shirt with white dots as stars, and white vans. (A/N: Dayum Scott, back at it again with the white vans. Sorry I just wanted to do that😂😂).

"I know when that hotline bling! That can only mean one thing! Ever since I left the city you! Got a reputation for yourself now! Everybody knows and I feel left out!" Aaron yelled Hotline Bling by Drake through the hotel room. I walked out the restroom and saw him dancing in some of River's clothes and Toby recording him.

Aaron then came over to me,"Girl you got me down, you got me stressed out! Cause ever since I left the city you! Started wearing less and going out more! Glasses of champagne out on the dance floor! Hanging with some girls I never seen before!" I started dancing with him and did the dances from the video.

Toby put down his phone,"This is gonna be hilarious. I'm putting this on Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Vine. You guys are about to go viral." He said while typing away on his phone.

Oh lord.
