I watch in shock as the helicopter took Spirit away. Looking down at the crystal clear water, I saw something shiny. Picking it up, I realized it was Spirit's crystal necklace. I quickly tied it around my neck and began wading out of the pond.

"Hold up," Mark said. "What are we going to do?"

As I pushed myself to shore, I turned and looked behind me at Mark, who was quickly swimming after me. "We're going to get her." At the shore, I turned in the direction the helicopter flew last time I saw it. Mark just reached me when I began walking in that direction.

"Are you sure you know where you're going?" he asked hesitantly.

"Of course," I bellowed back. After a few minutes, I stopped. Turning to Mark, I said, "We have to go faster. At this rate, we will never reach Spirit in time."

"I know someone who can help. And they're a few minutes from here." He pointed into the trees.

"Fine," I said, realizing that whoever it is, they might be able to help us after all.

"There it is," Mark said we reached the top of a hill. At the bottom of the hill was a little cabin. It was made of logs and had an antique look to it. "Come on!"

I raced after Mark who was surprisingly fast for being of the water power. Water people were said to be very slow.

Mark was knocking on the wooden door when I caught up to him a few seconds later. Just then, the door opened. A young girl, about 16 or 17, stood at the door way. She had semi-short, brown hair that landed at a heap on her shoulders. Her eyes were large, innocent looking blue eyes and her nose came to a soft point on her face. Her lips were full and light pink. She stood a little smaller than Spirit or I, but the same as Mark. She looked like a miniature version of Spirit.

"Hi!" she said enthusiastically. "My name is Soulia." She plastered a huge smile on her face. Her perfectly straight, white teeth shone in the glimmer of the falling sun.

"Soulia, this is my friend Fye. We were wondering if you could help us."

"Hi." she said. Turning back to Mark, she stated, "Come on in and tell me what you need help with."

"Er, no thanks. We have to-"I said when Mark walked in. Soulia just stood there holding the door open with that big smile. Against my own judgement, I walked inside.

Spirit

I was pushed out of the helicopter shortly after it landed. "Get up," a voice demanded. I tried by failed. "Hold on." The man took a knife and cut a small opening in the net large enough for me to fit through. As soon as I stood up, I bolted into the trees that bordered a large building. When I was about 2 feet from the wood, I was lifted into the air by a purple haze that had suddenly surrounded me.

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here," said a familiar voice. I was turned around to see Dr. Kygan. "Oh, didn't I tell you? My power is psychic ability. Which means I can mess with you basically anyway possible." That's how he tracked us! When I get my hands on him...

I was pulled toward him. I struggled to free myself as I came face to face with the evil Doctor. "What are you going to do when you get your hands on me? Hmm? Are you going to slap me? You don't have any power left, remember." How did he know?! "Oh, I can read your mind. And I can read all of your friends little minds," he snarled, smiling. "And I know where they are. I know exactly where they are. They have also made a new friend who carries your power too. Maybe this girl is your little sister."

I mocked his snarl and said, "I don't have a sister. She died."

"Oh no. She didn't die. I took her and she escaped before I could take her power. And now, your friend are going to bring her right here. I will have double the power."

"You little bastard!" I spat in his face. Dr. Kygan just smiled.

"Take her away!" I fell to the floor, hitting my knee on the ground. Immediately, I was grabbed by two guys in black suits. I wriggled in their grasps but couldn't free myself.

I was dragged down a long corridor. It was dark other than the candle that was alight every couple of feet. Doors upon doors lined the hallway, each 7 feet away. We reached a door at the end of the hallway. There were two guards that stood in front of it. One of them opened, allowing the two men to pull me inside. I moaned as I was pushed to the floor with a thud. The door closed around me and I was alone with a lit candle in the middle of the floor.

I cradled my head in my hands as tears streamed down my face. I wanted to call out for help but I knew nobody would hear me.

"What's that?" I said, pointing to a small mark on the side of her neck. It was the shape of a crescent moon. I suddenly remembered seeing Spirit with the same mark in the exact same spot. "It looks just like the one she has," I said turning to Mark.

Soulia's eyes widened in surprise. "Like who?" she asked.

"Spirit," I stated. "She has the same mark as you in the same spot." Soulia's eyes portrayed a look of recognition.

"Soulia," I began lightly, "do you know who Spirit is?"

"Yes," she said. "Spirit...is my sister."
