Fye

I clenched and UN-clenched my fists as the feeling subsided. I don't know what that feeling was; I've never felt that way before. I looked around for Mark and Soulia, who seemed to have disappeared. I walked in what I thought was the general direction they went. I pushed through the green and into a clearing. Mark and Soulia seemed to be in some sort of conversation. I didn't want to interrupt them so I stood there and waited.

When they were finished, they came toward me, noticing that I was there. They were holding hands. "So..."I said, the air around us seeming awkward. Mark smiled at me. "Are you two...you know...dating?" I asked.

"Yep," said Soulia, smiling.

"Well then," I began, the awkward air fading away, "You two love birds better come with me. The three are waiting and we still have to find the fourth keeper."

Mark and Soulia shared a knowing look. "Are you going to tell him?" Soulia asked Mark. They exchanged glances and Mark, stubbornly, walked over to me.

"We have already found the last keeper," he said, taking a deep breath. "I am the Keeper of Water. But you can't tell anyone. Only Soulia and the other 3 know about me."

"What?! Really?" I asked surprised. I looked from Soulia to Mark and back again. "I won't tell anyone. But, why didn't you tell me before?" Mark looked down at his feet.

"Did you not trust me?" I said, anger slowly bubbling inside of me. "Did you think I would tell somebody?"

"N-no, no! Of coarse not!" Mark stammered. "I just-"

I stopped him before he could finish. "You just didn't trust me, that's what." Mark took a step closer to me until we were head to head.

Soulia stepped between us. "Stop it, you guys. Do you think this is really helping us save Spirit?" I looked at her then back at Mark.

"We have enough time for me to show this bitch who's boss." I snarled.

"Well then," Mark said smiling menacingly, "bring it on!"

"No! Stop!" screamed Soulia, a couple feet away. I took my hand and created a ring of fire around us, blocking Soulia out. I could feel a fire-ball forming between my fingertips. I held it there, patiently waiting for the right time to throw it.

Mark created a water sword in his hands and held it out in front of him. Just then, Mark sent a wave heading dangerously toward me. Then, I threw the ball of flames right at Mark just as the water covered me.
