One Of The Five Have Gone all Wrong

Chapter 4 ~ Message received

Viper and the rest of the five - or four, now - were waiting on Po to retun. It had been a few hours since he had left to see why she left to begin with. Since his departure, they had to entertain themselves for the time being.

Viper laid in the sun mostly while Crane painted Mantis sitting in a fruit bowl, and Monkey was just hanging upside down. All wondering when Po will arrive. Just as Mantis is was about to speak, Po walks up the steps.

"What did she say?" Viper, more than any of them was more then eager to know if she was coming home. But sadly, if she knew her best friend like she did, she wasn't coming back.

"Ummm...didn't get to talking all that much. In fact when I tried getting to asking her, she said she was happy out there. And repeatedly told me that no matter what I'd say, that it wouldn't change her mind." Hanging her head in disappointment, Viper simply said "Oh." And slithered back a few feet.

"Maybe it is for the best that we leave her alone." Crane spoke up. The thought never occured to the others, save for Shifu. That was something that they really needed to take into consideration. In other words, put themselves in her situation.

"Very good Master Crane," as usual, Shifu had appeared out of nowhere, listening in to their conversation. "Tigress is simply trying to find herself. Time away from the palace will do her and all of us good. I strongly suggest that you all have patience. It is a very important virtue."

The others and Po looked at one another. They knew he was right but couldn't help but wonder why. Was there something he knew that they didn't?
