Waking up again I felt more refreshed glancing over at the clock I was shocked I had over slept for school It was now 7:00 a.m I knew there was no time left to get dressed for school so I didn't bother going I just grabbed the remote and flipped on some sponge Bob my eyes danced across the screen watching sponge Bob and Patrick run around jellyfish fields sometimes I Evy cartoons because they get to be in a made up world instead of the real world suddenly I was broke out of my sponge Bob trance as I heard a ear bleeding siren blast through the streets quickly I rolled of my bed covered my ears and dropped to the floor the siren blasted for 2 more minutes before it went off I had no idea what that was about but as I peeked my head up my t. v was no longer showing sponge Bob but a blond with messy hair and running mascara she spoke in a wobbly voice.
"excuse me all civilians of red oak I am sad to say there has been a outbreak of a mutant disease called Z- virus it has infected everyone in the hospital across Red Oak and is spreading rapidly through the town the government has issued a 24 hour time limit before they blow up the whole town all live citizens have 24 hours to get out of town and to the military base set up outside of town may God be with u in your time of need."
The t. v gave a click and turned off I stared at it in disbelief as if the women played some type of Halloween joke on me but the punch line was it wasn't Halloween my mother was infected and I had 24hours to get the hell out of Town
