Ground zero

Randy pulled up and I automatically knew exactly where we was one mega hospital was right in front of us I read the name slowly letting it roll off my tongue

"Saint Oak Hospital ." I said

"Someone you knew worked here?" he asked

"Yes my mother but she's probably a....."

"Zombie I'm sure if she isn't it's by the Grace of God." he mumbled

I nodded slowly Randy grabbed my hand for reassurance then he handed me a shot gun and his keys to the truck before I could ask about the keys Randy door was already shut I knew that was a signal

"Don't ask." I mumbled

I got out and catched up to Randy he was scanned the area before He spoke to me

"This hospital seem too quiet you know?"

"Yes but maybe all the zombies are gone." I replied

"Maybe keep an eye out." he commanded

I nodded and scanned the hospital buildings like a hawk
I started swirling my gun while looking Randy started looking at me with his crooked grin and I knew that meant he was amused as quick as a viper snack he hit my ass sending my shot gun hitting the ground with a big thump before I could scold Randy my body went limp as a cruel shriek filled the air zombies were coming out now before they didn't know we even existed but me and Randy just made it aware we came to crash the party play time was over they poured out of every side of the hospital they just kept coming non stop Randy gave me the same look he did at the cabin I didn't have to ask I started firing off bullets instantly moving through the crowd and Randy was right on the side of me firing a Ak 47 I watched his grin and wondered about if this zombie outbreak never happened would I have met my future baby daddy?
