RB - Questions and Answers

I've been getting a lot of questions lately, and I haven't managed to answer them all. So I've managed to compile a list and answered them to the best of my abilities. If you have any other questions, please let me know so that I can add them to this Q and A.

Q. Describe Emma:
A. She's blonde, 5ft 9, and a Virgo. She's tough, distant, and to the outside world - a ruthless business woman who became the youngest female billionaire. She's extremely private and extremely proud. She's very maternal - but she doesn't realise it yet.

Q. Why does she use Em and not Emma?
A. Em tries to detach herself from her old life once she runs away. She is no longer Emma, the fat, disappointment her parents called her. She is Em, strong business woman with a mind of her own.

Q. Has Em turned into a Wolf?
A. No, she hasn't. In this wolf world, a female will turn through transition after her mate accepts her. If Hayden's wolf had accepted Em, her body would have slowly transitioned to full wolf over a two year period. A wolf does not turn at the sight of the moon.

Q. How old is Hayden?
A. He is three years older than Em, making him a sexy 28 years old.

Q. Describe Hayden.
A. Dirty Blond hair, beautiful jade green eyes, 6ft 2. He hates wolves. Always has, always will. He can't explain why. He's never understood the whole concept of wolves, and he probably won't - ever.

Q. Why did Hayden's wolf reject Em?
A. His wolf based his reactions on lust. Em was not the person she is today. She was overweight, had acne, and was short. Hayden had just turned 18 - the age at which a wolf starts to overpower their human so that they can start their search for a mate. Hayden (the human) was not in control. He was NOT the one to reject Em. Hayden's wolf was.

Q. Does Hayden love Em?
A. Hayden, the human, loves Em. He didn't love her when his wolf rejected her, but there was something about her that captured him in that clearing, and to this day he doesn't know what. His wolf was forced down soon after he rejected Em and Hayden, the human, fell in love with Em in her absence, over a nine year period.

Q. Why does Hayden put his claim on her at his and Hilary's engagement party?
A. He doesn't. The wolf does. Wolves are determined to breed the best. He rejected her nine years ago because she was anything but; but when he sees her for the first time in nine years, Hayden's wolf recognises his mate whilst Hayden takes time to realise who it is. The wolf lusts after Em.

Q. Why did Em's family hate her?
A. Wolves are animals. Their human bodies are controlled by the emotions of their animals. And for the simple reason that Em was a female born into the homes of Alpha and Beta - leaders. There was a war between two rival rogue packs who had joined together to battle with the White Moon Pack. Em's pack lost lives - mostly female. The pack elders had shunned any idea of birthing females into the homes of leadership. Since the end of that war, in the seventy or so years, no female was birthed - until Em. Em was seen as a weak link. Not good enough for them.

Q. Are her family really remorseful for all that they've put her through?
A. Yes. They are. They bullied her as wolves, and grieved for her as human parents when she left.

Q. Why did Sam breakup with Em when she was younger?
A. He was offered a place at Oxford University and an internship with an investment bank in London. He was young and foolish. He thought Em would always be there waiting for him. She found Marc about three months after he left.

Q. Does Sam love Em?
A. Yes. He does. He's always loved her. He fell in love with her more when he knew that she was happily engaged and unobtainable. Deep down he knows that he'll always be her friend. Nothing more. But that doesn't stop him from being hopeful - very hopeful.
