TERENY
I had dozed off to sleep with Britten in my arms. He refused to sit in his car seat untouched so he made the car ride a whole headache, but that's my baby. Britney on the other hand was being a big girl. She had her blanket, her sippy cup, and one of her Bratz dolls that Tray had bought her. I felt petty, letting Britney play with the doll knowing that Bruce had no idea where it came from, but I didn't put much thought on it. It is what it is. I'm about to go sit in a room with a bitch I've trusted him not to screw behind my back, so I say we're even.

As we pulled up to the hotel, Bruce pulled up to the entrance and walked inside. We were going to be stopping by Chris and Keira's house for a while so that Bruce could spend time with Yasmin. She was supposed to be coming back to the hotel room with us. I couldn't wait to see how she had grown.

Bruce came back with an angry look on his face as if he could throw something and break something. He got back into the car and slammed the door shut. He took two deep breaths and looked at me.

"Bae, when you called them, what did they tell you?" He asked me with an attitude.

"That our room is ready. Why?" I asked. He shook his head.

"They gave our room away to a customer claiming domestic violence. The bitch stole our room." And when he said that, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself. I stared at him and smiled only because it was comical seeing him mad. "I wouldn't be surprised if her ass beat herself up just to get a free room for the night." He smiled and looked at me.

"Stop being a dick. She probably did get her ass beat by somebody." I say as I cuddled Britten even tighter. "Well where are we gonna go?"

"Hell, I don't know. This the only hotel really worth shit on this side of town. I guess we're gonna have to try to crash at Chris's house. He won't mind." He said as he pulled off from out of the parking lot. "I kinda just wanted to give them space though."

"Why can't we go stay with Gabby then? Ain't she your best friend too?" I asked, feeling like stirring shit up just because. Bruce looked at me and then back at the road.

"You know I haven't been talking with her how I should. She probably pissed off at me." Bruce insisted. I rolled my eyes.

"Why don't you talk to her then? You never quite told me why you haven't been talking to her. Did you two have a fight or something?" I asked him, penetrating the situation. He sighed.

"Gabby and I just have our differences right now. I'm just giving her the break that she needs." He informed me. I rolled my eyes again and shook my head. He must really thinks I'm stupid.

"I see."

Moments after driving around town, Bruce had called Chris to let him know that we were on our way to his house. He told him what happened and Chris insisted we stay with him since he had plenty of room at his house. I would've preferred to have stayed at Gabby's house so that I could see how she and Bruce react awkwardly around each other. But I guess I'll see that at a later time. They have to see each other some time or another.

When we pulled up to Chris's house, I instantly fell in love with the outside decor. There was a rose garden and lounge chairs resting outside of the almond colored brick home. I've been here before, but just being here again made the experience feel brand new.

Keira was outside tending to the rose garden when she looked up and saw us in the driveway. She looked tanner and a bit thicker than the last time I had seen her. She had cut her long hair into a bob which looked good on her. She looked older. I just hoped she was much more maturer. And although Keira and I somewhat sorted out our differences, she still had some childish ways about herself. I wasn't completely sold like Bruce and Chris just yet.
