Lily of the Valley (Levi x reader)

Chapter 6

As Lily and Eren reached the trailing field, he turned while putting his fist into attack position with a huge smile on his face and said, "You ready?"

Lily said shyly, "Sure." With a nervous smile appearing on her face looking at his hands in a fist position. She did not like how his hands were positioned, it brought back horrid memories of beatings and pain. She thought to herself though, 'I am now in this training, I must be able to fight and protect myself even if it brings back things I would never like to remember.' As Lily thought this, she put her fist in front of her face and even out her weigh onto her feet.

Eren saw she wasn't sure about fighting due to the look on her face and the sounding of her voice. He looked at her with a sigh saying, "Do you want me to go easy on you for the first round, because I totally understand if you do."

Lily looked at Eren and took a deep breath before saying, "I must train my hardest, please don't go easy on me, but thanks for the offer."

With that statement, Eren looked at Lily and said, "Then lets begin." He leaned in and hist fist flew though the air. Lily's eyes widened in fear and she let out a loud shriek gaining the attention of all her peers who were training as well. She fell to the floor, not do to the punch, but due to the fact of millions of terrifying memories surrounded her and attacked her. Her mined was clouded and pain rushed though her head and body. Eren stopped in confusion because his fist never even came in contact with her. He thought, 'I never touched her, how has she already fallen?' He then knelt down next to her and went to help her up. As he extended his hand, she fell back and started to crawl backwards in fear while tears escaped her eyes. She then finally realized it was Eren once her minded cleared. She let out a sigh as he helped her up and rapped his arms around her into a big bear hug. The last tears fell from her eyes, before saying, "Sorry, can I have a redo?"Eren looked at her in confusion, before he could speak she said, "I'm okay, I want to train now, I'm ready."

Eren let out a sigh as he got back into fighting position. Lily stepped back and prepared herself. Eren again took the first move. As his fist came toward her, she dodged it grabbing his shoulder and elbow. With that, she flipped him over only to have him land on the hard ground. Eren laid there in shock as her looked at the small girl who just a moment ago was having a mental break down. She stood over him and helped him up. By then a crowd had formed around the two. Everyone was in shock to have just seen the small innocent girl take down the determined titan killer.

Lily looked around to see all her peers wide eyed until her eyes met with a terrifying death glare form the one, the only, Mikasa. Lily gave her a small smile only to receive what felt like dangers attacking her. Eren looked Lily only to say, "How?"

She tried to avoid eye contact with all her peer including Eren. She stared at the ground only to have the memories attack her again. Lily refused to have tear escape her sad eyes. All she could mange to say was, "I had to learn how to protect myself, so I taught myself." She sighed and then made eye contact with the green eyed boy. She said with a sad smile, " Eren are you okay?"

He saw the pain in the blue eyed girls eyes. He already knew she had a bad past and the crowd surrounding them probably wasn't helping with the sorrow. He put a smile on his face and said, "Of course I am, now shall we get back to practice... friend?"

A wide smile appeared on Lily's face and a sparkle twinkled in her eyes once she heard the word 'friend'. She got into fighting position putting her fist up to her face and said with a giggle, "Sure...friend."
