Chapter 11 (or 10 part two)

LEVI POV

God dammit! For the past three fucking years I couldn't get that fucking brat out of my fucking head! I have come to the conclusion that I am utterly in love with a person I hardly know. I honesty know nothing about that brat, Lily.

I have read all her files, and read them again almost everyday or even twice a day. We really only know her name, physical appearance, birth place, and that she had two sisters both which are younger...and dead. I feel bad for her, she's all alone in the world and that's why I'm determined to find out more about her and her past.

Also I want to be there for her. She needs someone, and I don't know why I am that person, but I am determined to be them. The thought for her and her beautiful face has saved me though the many expeditions outside the walls into the world of Titans and death. I won't let her or anyone know about this however, corporal is my first priority not love. Though, I honestly can't wait till we are reunited at the graduation ceremony.

Wow this girl has made me soft... fuck! I'm the fucking corporal for gods sake I can't be a softy! I need to get this brat out of my head and soon! It will help to know she will never feel the same for me, but at the same time I wish she would.

*knock knock*

I slowly lifted my head and asked in my usual flat tone "Who is it and what the hell do you want?"

Without a response, Erwin just walked in with Hanji right on his heals. "Hey shorty" she smiled and said with a giggle.

"Don't call me that, four eyes." I began to rub my temples in annoyance when I said "and so what brings you two here? I really don't have time to be dealing with your relationship issues if that is what this meeting is about."

Erwin's eyes widen and he coughed in shocked and embarrassment. Then Hanji burst into her usual mad laughter and she nearly started to cry. There was no relationship between them, yet, but it was completely obvious they liked each other.

Hanji then said with a sly smile on her face " No shorty, not our relationship issues... but yours..."

I looked up shocked, not knowing how to respond or who they were even talking about. There was no person in the Survey Corps I liked, but there was one still in training ;). They couldn't possibly know I liked Lily. How could they? I had to play stupid to see where this was heading.

"What the hell are you two fucking talking about."

"Wow... language Mr. midget." She said with a giggle. I stated to get angry and more annoyed and that's when Erwin stepped in.

"Just to clarify, we are not here to talk about relationship anything." I sighed in relief, then glared at glasses. Damn if looks could kill she would be on the floor dead! Hanji then started to pout because Erwin didn't play along with her little plan, what a child. He continued saying "We came here to talk about cadet Lily, the one form the underground and now is in training. When she finishes training, we want her in your squad. We believe it would be the best fit for her with her skills and" he paused "her background."

I sat there shocked. I was overly happy yet terrified at the same time. I wanted to be close to her to get to know her and protect her, but that would be putting my other soldiers lives on the line and what if I say some thing wrong!

"What ever" is all I could say in response to Erwin's plans.

When they left, I slowly got up from my desk and walked towards the opened window only to whisper "Dammit" and hang my head low in thought.

I am so sorry it took forever to get a new chapter. I want to keep working on this story, I refuse to abandon it! However it will be a slow writing process just a heads up. Hope you liked it and sorry if it wasn't the best, haven't written in awhile :) love y'all
