Lily of the Valley (Levi x reader)

Chapter 8

Sasha turned to the group of girls with a big smile on her face and said, "Hey, how about we go around and each ask someone a question and they have to answer it, that way we can all get to know each other better. I'll start, Annie...how do you know Reiner and Bertolt? You all seem close."

Annie was sitting in her bunk above Mikasa. She said with the same broad emotion on her face as always, "We grew up together. Mikasa...what's up with you and that Jäger boy?"

Mikasa's face was turned a slight red color so she turned away and said in a hushed tone, "He's my adoptive brother." She let out a sigh before turning away form Annie and looked straight toward Lily and said,"Why did you freak out when you were with Eren and Jean today?"

Lily's eyes widened and she could feel her eyes start to tear up. She looked down at the ground and said in a quiet but sad voice, "I don't really want to talk about it if it ok with you, sorry."

The girls just stared at her until she said, "Mikasa, I can answer another question for you though." At this point, Lily was back to normal and no more tears wanted to escape her blue eyes.

Mikasa thought for a moment until she said, "Do you have any siblings?"

Lily's face went pale and thought to herself, 'wow this question isn't any better.' But she sighed and answered "Yes, I had two sisters, Haley and Katie." She looked down at her neckless with the ring on it and felt a hot tear run down her cheek, she quickly got up and said, "Sorry, I'll be right back."

Lily then headed towards the bathroom away from the chatter with only one thing on her mind, 'stop the pain'. Once she closed the bathroom stall door, she pulled out a small silver blade from her pocket and slowly slid it across her bare arm. Crimson blood trickled out of the wound and fell slowly down her arm. Lily sighed as the pain from her arm overpowered the pain in her mind.

After a couple minutes, she walked out of the stall making sure no one was around. Lily then washed the blood of her arm and then rapped it in a cloth and pulled her sleeve down over it. With that, she walked back out and rejoined her new friends once again.
