Chapter 20

Piper’s POV

When  I Harry invited over on Saturday I assumed everyone was going to be there and we were all going to hang out.

I was wrong.

“Where is everyone?” I ask Harry as he enters my empty flat. Riley is out with friends tonight.

“Louis is out with Eleanor, Zayn with Perrie, Liam is out with some friends and I have no idea where Niall went, Nando’s probably,” He shrugs and looks over at me.

“Oh,” I simply say as I tug on my shirt. “So, what do you want to do?”

“It’s not that late you want to make supper?”

“Nah, I already ate,” I chuckle and pat my stomach.

“Oh, I have an idea,” He smiles widely.

“What?” I ask suspiciously.

“Do you think you can handle hate?” He asks me instead of answering my question.

“Umm,” I hesitate but I’m a tough girl (sometimes). “I guess, why?”

“I want to introduce you to the fans,” He grins.

“What? How? Why?”

“We would do a twit cam together and I could tell the fans that you’re our new friend. I think it would be fun,” He says smiling hopefully. “The only thing is. ‘Cause you’re a girl and you’re friends with me, some fans might not take it so well,”

“Nah,” I say thinking of the girl we met at the mall. “It’ll be fine. Let’s do it,”

“Yay,” Says Harry and I laugh at his immaturity.

Harry gets out his laptop and sends out a tweet, telling everyone that we will be doing a twit cam in 10 minutes.

While we are waiting, we talk about the week. Harry and the boys had a signing and an interview. I had a biology test. Both pretty exciting times.

Note the sarcasm.

Ten minutes are up quickly and Harry goes back on Twitter.

Fans have responded immediately and I’m surprised at how quick the word gets around. Harry and me sit on floor in front of the couch, with the laptop sitting on his legs.

“Hey, guys!” He says excitedly into the webcam. We already have thousands of viewers. I read the comments coming in from people watching, and most of them were asking who I was.

“This is my friend, Piper,” Harry introduces me.

“Hey,” I say waving into the camera.

“No we aren’t dating,” Harry chuckles at the new floor of questions. “Just good friends,”

I see one or two hate comments but I ignore them focusing on the questions.

“Zebras or donkeys?” I ask the question that I see appear in the corner of the screen.

“Zebras,” Harry reply. “I like their stripes,”

“What’s your favourite Ed Sheeran song?” I ask another.

“I think… Little Bird and Kiss Me,”

“Nice, I like Give Me Love, and You Need Me, I Don’t Need You,” I say.

“Wait,” Harry says suddenly and points to a question. I can just see what I says before it disappears.

“What? No. No way,” I say immediately.
