Rylie is the one. Ever since she "fell" into my lap on the subway that day, I knew it. Looking in her brown eyes is like heaven. Her presence improves my life by a million percent.

Ever since we were little, I promised I would love Maya Hart and Rylie Matthews the same no matter what. But then comes Mr. Perfect. He's got Rylie's heart, do I have Maya's?

He's the one.
Lucas Friar is the one for me. I love him and he loves me. No change is needed in my life because change fills my pockets with pennies of uncertainty. Him hugging me is like I'm home. Looking into his eyes makes me feel safe.
He's obviously the one.
POV: MAYA:
Who's the one for me?
Doesn't Maya Penelope Hart get a happy ending too? No, of course not. I'll watch people pair up and break hearts for another lover, but I'll never be one of those people. I already have a broken heart.
