Sammy's POV

"So where are we heading?"

I turned my head slightly to glance over at the gorgeous girl that was currently sitting in my passenger side seat.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked, smiling a little as she bit her lip gently.

"Somewhere peaceful." She responded, making me grin from ear to ear.

"I know just the place babygirl." I said, taking a turn off the highway.

"We're here." I announced to the tiny brunette that was beside me.

"I could tell by you parking the car." She teased, making me roll my eyes playfully as we climbed out of my Jeep.

"Woah."

I smiled in triumph as I grabbed a blanket from my backseats, walking over to Celina and grabbing her tiny hand in mine.

"Come on, it gets better."

I brought her to the other edge of the beach, where you could see the city's skyline from.

I laid the blanket out and smiled as I sat down on it, watching Celina take in what she was looking at before sitting beside me.

"This is pretty beautiful." She murmured, her eyes not leaving the bright skyline.

"Yeah it is." I whispered back, my gaze locked on the mysterious brunette in front of me.

Her body shifted so it was against mine, and my arms slowly fitted around her to keep her warm.

"I want to get to know you." I mumbled, playing with her messily curled hair.

"Okay, what do you want to know?" She asked back softly.

"What's your favorite song? What are you going to college for? Are you even going to college? Are you single? Why are you in Omaha?" I spit out in a fast pace, scared she'd he frightened by my eagerness to learn all I could about her.

A small giggle fell from her naturally pouty lips, making my chest clench.

"I have way to many favorite songs, we'd have to spend a whole day just on those if you really wanted to know. I don't know about college yet, but I want to write or do something with fashion." She took a breathe before leaning back into me.

"Yes, I'm very single, I have been for a long time. And I'm in Omaha because I'm visiting my dad for the Summer, I live in New York." She explained, and suddenly it seemed to make sense; her sophistication, how indifferent she seemed at first glance.

I nodded slowly and rubbed small circles on her exposed arms with the tips of my fingers, taking in the quiet night mixed with the sound of her breathing.

"You're pretty different too, aren't you Sammy?"
