That weekend was Lizzy's company's celebration for 50 years of scientific breakthroughs. We went together, dressed nicely, and to my luck; Cameron was invited to the celebration to give a speech to the workers since he had been the person that had given the comapny their biggest grant for their research in their history. Liz and I sat together in the crowd in the science lab's auditorium as Cameron crossed the stage to the podium. He cleared his throat professionally and spoke smooth as butter:

"It is my great pleasure to be here today for this celebration. It was about 5 years ago when I gave this company a grant for over a million dollars, the biggest grant they had ever recieved, and since then they have done nothing but put the money to excellent use. Researching the uses for vaccines, discovering new methods to things, and even changing the course of science itself. You people are the type of workers that this company deserves. You're smart and you've come this far with your work and endeavors, my only wish is that you continue it. Thank you."

He left the podium and was played out with applause.

After the ceremony there was an after party for everyone that came. Liz and I were standing around talking to her parents when I locked eyes with Cameron from across the room. I excused myself from the conversation and went over to him.

"Hello Cameron." I greeted with a smile.

Cameron smiled back. "What a pleasant surprise Miss Hart." He spoke.

"That was a very nice speech you gave earlier." I complimented.

"Thank you. I guess you could say I'm used to doing things like that." Cameron smirked.

"I can only imagine." I poked.

"Have you made a decision on the contract yet?" He asked now.

"No I haven't, but I'll have an answer soon." I replied.

"Katie please, just try things my way for awhile." Cameron pleaded.

I smirked now. "Ok." I said.

"Ok?" Cameron questioned, clearly taken back a bit.

"Ok." I said still smirking. Just then a photographer came up to us.

"Hey Mr. Glass, can I get a picture?" He asked.

"Of course." Cameron accepted, then he wrapped and arm around my waist and pulled me tight against him. We both smiled for the picture and then the photographer thanked us and was gone.

"Are you busy tonight?" Cameron asked me.

"No, why?" I answered.

"I was thinking we could celebrate tonight." He explained.

"Celebrate what?" I wondered, raising an eyebrow.

"50 years of scientific breakthroughs?" Cameron said.

"But I have nothing to do with the science facility." I replied.

"I know. But it gives me the chance to see you." Cameron smirked, his thumb lightly tugging at my bottom lip.

"...Sounds like a plan." I nervously accepted, now a bit intimidated by his touch. Just then Cameron's cell phone started ringing and he excused himself to take the call.

I took this chance to walk back to Liz and her parents. Rejoining the conversation Lizzy's mom Robyn asked me how I knew Cameron.

"I work for him, he's my boss..." I explained.

"He seems like more than just your boss with that little lip tug he did." Robyn remarked.

I blushed a bit. "Ok maybe we're a thing too....." I admitted.
