*Scarlett's POV*
"These girls are in deep trouble," I said, worried.
"Scarlett! Ari, you guys have to help us!" Aaron said.
"No! We can't. We won't use witchcraft." I said, looking down.
Yeah, that's right.
I'm a witch.
So is Ariana.
"Please! These girls can't!" Aaron begged.
"Fine!" We both said.
Me and Ari joined hands.
We did a spell.
Thunder crackled everywhere.
"Girls get in!" I yelled.
The sky darkened, and they all ran into the house.
"That's weird, it suddenly got dark and started to rain," Andrea said.
We all nodded and the girls went to change.
They all got back, and we all sat in the living room.
I took Blake and Aaron to the couch along with Aria.
Yeah I know, Ariana has a lot of nicknames.
"We cannot let them touch water." I started when suddenly,
"AAH! Lauren! How dare you!"
"SPLASH!"
Uh oh.
Crap.
Me and the others ran outside to find Cheryl, Joshua, and Eric along with Laur and Dani.
Oh gosh.
No.
Their both soaked.
"What's happening to me? My feet are tightening..." Dani panicked.
"Me too!" Laur said, even more panicked.
"The curse." Cheryl said.
"What curse?" They asked.
"Your mermaid curse. You guys've triggered it." I said, walking to the pool with Ari.
"What do you mean- AAHHH!" Lauren tried to say, but then a HUGE splash soaked us all.
Lauren's tail was purple and Danielle's was blue.
"WHY DO WE HAVE TAILS I DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Dani yelled.
"Calm down, girls. Come with me." Ari and I said, Joshua and Eric carrying them into the living room.
Me and Ari did a drying spell and the girls were back to normal.
"Look, girls. I know it's hard to take in, but you're mermaids, the curse runs in your family." I explained as they nodded.
"There are rules and consequences. Whenever you touch water, you will grow you tail. Even a single drop would make you grow your tail so be careful." I warned.
"You will have your powers. You will discover them later. But in the meantime, here are some necklaces." Ari said and gave them the two pendants.
" Do not take them off. The necklace protects you from the full moon and growing your tail when in contact with water." Ari said, and they nodded.
"As mermaids, you will be very fast swimmers. DO NOT tell people about your powers. It'll destroy you." I warned.
"Okay, I get it." Dani said, nodding.
