Chapter 4 - Meeting Dan

I checked my phone and for the time and date.
It was 8:49 and it was the 8th April 2015.
I got up and put on my dressing gown. It was a personilzed dressing. Tom and Gi got me and Buzz a personilzed dressing gown.
Buzz's says, "Little Brother" at the back and his date of birth.
And mine says, "Big Sister" at the back as well with my date of birth.
His is baby blue with a black in print.
Mine is lilac with a black in print as well.

I was greeted by bacon pancakes. Tom was sitting at the dining room table while spoon feeding Buzz chopped up pancakes with bits of bacon on top of it. I noticed that the fat off the bacon was cut. I suspected that was because Buzz might choke on the fat of the bacon.
"Morning Big Junior!" Gi laughed.
"Morning Gi, what are we doing today?" I asked.
I sat down next to Buzz while Gi brought over my breakfast.
"Well, we have a surprise for you," Tom said.
I started to get excited.
Am I having another day with McBusted? Is James coming over? Is Alisha coming over?
"Do you know that you said that Dan was going to do a video with you a soon as Phil comes home?" Gi said.
She sat down with her own platefull of pancakes and bacon.
"Yeah?" I took a forkfull of pancakes in my mouth and swallowed it.
"Well," Gi said.
Tom and Gi looked at each other.
"We have invited Dan over to take you out for the day!" They said at the same time.
I stared at Gi then back at Tom.
"Is that a good reaction or a bad one?" Tom said.
I hoped of my seat and started to dance. I waved my arms around.
"I take that as a good reaction!" Gi laughed.
"What time is he coming, Tom?" I asked.
I sat down and took a bite of my bacon pancakes.
"About lunch time. We will pick you up if you like?" He said.
"Nahh, it's OK. I'll get the bus instead,"
I ate my food really quickly and put my plate in the sink ready for it to get washed.
I then went upstairs and hopped into the shower.
When I got out I pulled out a black jumper with dungarees. (Outfit at the top)
I got changed into them.
I put my hair into a messy bun and put some make up on.
I took a photo with them on in front of the mirror.
I put the photo up on Instagram and captioned it as, "Outfit for today 😜💖"

* 2 hours passed *

"Madison! Dan's here!" I jumped of my bed, grabbed my phone, headphones and my purse then I checked if I was OK in the mirror.
"Hair?" I fiddled with my hair bobble and hair, "Check!"
"Coming!"
I ran downstairs so quickly I nearly tripped on the top step.
I stopped in my tracks as I saw a 6 foot tall man standing in my living room. His brown shiny fringe was parted to the left, he had a black jacket on him, a leather one with a white top underneath it. I noticed he had black zipped trousers on what matches his black zipped shoes.
"You must be Maddie?" Dan said. He stepped closer towards me and he bent down to my height.
"Yeah, I am. Hi Dan," He hugged me as if he knew me for a long time.
I hugged him back. My head rested on his shoulder.
We pulled apart.
"Here's £30, spend it wisely!" Tom said. He handed me 6 £5 pound notes. I placed them into my purple purse.
"Bye Princess," Gi kissed my forehead.
"Gi, you embrassing me!" I pushed her away what made Dan, Tom, Gi and even Buzz laugh.
"Right, we'd better go," Dan said.
I followed Dan over to the door.
"Bye, I'll call you when I'm on my way home," I blew a kiss to Tom, then Gi then I bent down and hugged Buzz.
"Love you, baby Junior Fletcher!"
Yes, that's my nickname for him.
I left and shut the door behind me.

I looked up and saw Dan looking down at me.
I'm only up to his elbow so I'm really short for him.
"So, where do you wanna go first?" He asked.
"Town please,"

Me and Dan hoped onto the bus and took the seat at the back.
"Dan, can I tell you a story?" I looked out the window and saw a church. There was two men smiling at eachother, holding hands.
"Yeah sure," I looked up at him and he was putting his phone back in his pocket.
"It's about care, if that's OK? I know I've only just met you in person but it feels like I've known you for years!"
"OK, that's fine," He said.
I took a deep breathe.
"I was beaten as a child. I was beaten for no reason at all. I would tidy up my room when I wasn't told to, I was beaten. I would brush my teeth, I was beaten. I would eat all my dinner, I would get beaten. It would never end until I finally built up the courage to run away. I collapsed in a alleyway not to far from where I used to live and then apparently 2 men found me and brought me into care or something," I felt tears roll down my face.
I looked up and Dan had a blank face on his face.
"I'm sorry, I've only just met you and I'm already telling you my life story!" I sighed.
