Chapter 23 - Buddy Comes Home

I grabbed all the paints that I could find from The Works, a massive A3 paper, some pencils and a ruler. I then went to the til and paid.
The man behind the counter was on his own phone, and he had a massive smile on his face.
"That'd be £76.87 please," I looked shocked at how much the things I'm buying.
I passed him my credit card and I put my pin in the thing (don't know what it's called 😂)
"Would you like a bag, Ma'am?"
I was quite fluttered that he called me, 'Ma'am,'
"Yes please,"
Does he honestly expect me to carry all of this stuff home? By. Myself?!
I collected all my things and went to Nanny Debbie's.

"Come on Buzz, let's do a coming home poster for our little brother," I picked him, put him on my lap and took him into the conservatory that had all the art stuff.
I rolled the sleeves up and got the little apron my Nan and Grandad have for Buzz, whenever he does Art at theirs.
I popped it on his tiny little body.
"You ready Buzz?"
"Paint!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, paint. We're gonna do a Welcome Home poster for our little brother!"
It was currently 9:56am and I left at 7 to go to the City Centre. I am shattered!
I rolled my sleeves up and put Buzz's hand in the blue paint, and pressed his hand down on the right corner of the page.
Buzz laughed.
"Is that fun, Buzz?" I smiled at him.
Me and Buzz then started to place our painted hands all over the page, making sure it's almost covered.
"Nanna Debbie?" I called.
I then heard footsteps go across the kitchen floor and Debbie's face poked around the conservatory door.
"You called?"
"Is it okay if you clean Buzz up while I finish this off please?"
"Of course sweetheart,"
Nanny Debbie picked up Buzz and took his out of the room.
"Come on, little one, let's get you cleaned up,"
I wetted the paint brush, dried it off and then dipped it into the black paint. I then painted, Welcome Home Buddy!!
I then put it on the table, to let it dry.
I got my phone out of my pocket and then took a picture of the it so show the before and after picture, once it dried.

I went upstairs and got changed in the spare room. I picked up my light blue skinny jeans, a grey t-shirt, a black jumper with white stripes across the chest, my white socks, and put them on. Buzz was currently wearing dungarees with a white long sleeved shirt underneath and blue socks. His hair was natural, revealing his little blonde fringe.

Aiden🤕❤️ - You busy tmrw? Xx
Me - I don't know yet, Gi's had the baby and I might have to help out. Maybe on Saturday? Xx
Aiden🤕❤️ - Okay, that's fine. It's just that I miss you 😭 xx

I made a plan inside my head, of when I was free and I also felt guilty for leaving Tom and Gi with a newborn and a near 2 year old, if I did go out.

Me - Wait, why don't you come to mine, that way I won't have to leave Tom and Gi in the hectic mode of looking after a newborn and a near 2 year old xx
Aiden🤕❤️ - Yeah, if that's best for you, when are you free next? Xx
Me - I don't know, I'll let ya know. Do you wanna facetime later? Xx
Aiden🤕❤️ - Sure, 7 - 8 okay? Xx
Me - Sure 😊 xx

"Maddie, can you come here please?" Grandad Bob called me.
I got off my bed, left my phone on the dressing room table and went to my Nan and Grandad's room, where he was calling me from.
"You called,"
"How do you send a video on WhatsApp?" He asked me.
I sat down next to him, and he passed me his phone.
"Can you see the little paperclip sign on the corner of the screen?"
He winked at the screen, "Ah, yes, "
"Click on that and then it'll send you to your images. Press on the video you want to send then press send,"
"Is that it?"
"Yeah, if you need any more help, tell me,"
"Thank you, Mads," He gave me a kind smile.
"It's okay, Pops,"

I went downstairs to see what Buzz was up to. My red t-shirt wearing brother was standing up against his making box. Buzz was drawing on a piece of paper, and it looked like he was trying to draw a person. I bended down and stood behind him. I took a quick picture of him and posted it on Instagram, "Patiently waiting for our little brother to come home ❤️," I planted a kiss in his cheek and left him to it.

~ Later that day

Buzz is drawing on his drawing table. He was sat down on his blue chair, light blue to be exact. I remember the day we got the chair, it was a couple days after Christmas, and me and Gi decided to go shopping. We walked past this shop, I can't remember the name now, and I immediately loved it. I begged Gi to get it for Buzz as it'd mean he'd finally have his own little chair and she agreed after me giving her a million facts and reasons why he should have it. I remember feeling extremely chuffed with myself afterwards.  Now it's placed in the kitchen.

I then got a text to open the door by Tom.
I picked up Buzz and opened the door, immediately knowing what was gonna be on the other side.
I planted a kiss on Buzz's head, "You ready to meet your other best friend,"
I opened the door, and I noticed a car seat in Gi's hands, and as fresh newborn asleep in it.
"Meet Buddy," She beamed at me.

I'm back, after nearly 4 months of being missing 😂😅 I have my results at the end of the month, what I'm shitting about 🤞🏻
A new Fletcher is due any second now 😟 I bet another boy 🙋🏻‍♀️
