The beautiful sunrise crawling up the sky, presenting positivity to those who it shines upon - making peoples days better. The sun waking up the people down on Earth and telling those that it is now time to get up. Children laughing and running to get ice creams from the whining sound of Ice Cream trucks. Text messages binging on phones asking those if they wanted to meet up today, and get a drink.
Yeah, sure(!) It's January people and we're not in America.
Instead, rain is hitting it self against windows and showering miserable across London.I quickly got changed since I was running late and ran downstairs towards the kitchen.
"Running late again?" Dougie raised his left eyebrow.
"Yeah, my alarm didn't go off," I panted.
"Want me to drop you off at Rosie's?" Tom asked.
"If you don't mind," I felt terrible.
I grabbed a piece of toast, chucked my lunchbox in the bag and headed to the door.
"Doug, look after Buzz while I drop of Rolo,"
Dougie just nodded his head.
I got my shoes on as quickly as possible, "Got everything?" Tom asked. I nodded my head.
"Bye Dougie, Bye little man," Buzz ran over to me, making me pick him up and giving him a massive hug.
"Right, let's go!"
I got into the car and Tom put on Capital.
'Stolen moments that we steal as the curtain falls
It'll never be enough
It's obvious you're meant for me
Every piece of you, it just fits perfectly
Every second, every thought, I'm in so deep
But I'll never show it on my face
But we know this, we got a love that is homeless' blasted through the car speakers.
"Tom?" I turned to Tom, putting down my phone after rapidly texting Rosie to say that I'm on my way and Tom will drop us both off at the school gates.
"Yeah,"
"Can I ask you something?" I don't know why I was unsure about this question because it's a question that most children would ask their parents.
"You can ask me anythin', you know that right?" Tom reassured me.
I nodded my head, "Erm, when did you and Gi meet?"
I looked up at Tom and he just smiled at me, "It was a gorgeous day on 5th September 1998 and the whole year group was called into the hall, because y'know, at the start of the new school year, the head teacher would call you into the hall and talk about new beginning and all that rubbish. Anyway, as that malarky was going on, this beautiful girl came and sat next to me. I'd never seen her before, but my god, she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever laid my eyes on. She said to me, "Hey, my name's Giovanna but you can call me Gi," I decided to be smart and go, "Hey, my name's Tom but you can call me T," We both chuckled to ourselves, "BAM! Over 10 years later, we got married and now have 2, nearly 3 kids of our own, "
"That's so cute,"
By the time I had said that Tom was slowing the car down and we had pulled up out of Rosie's house.
I got out the car and knocked on the door. It didn't take long for Rosie to answer the door.
"Goodbye Mia, goodbye Mom. I love you both," She said, smiling at me than shutting the door.*At school*
"Have you spoken to Aiden yet?" Rosie winked at me. God, I hate it when she winks at me.
"What do you mean?" I tried my best to not know what she was going on about.
"You said last night that you was going to talk to Aiden in History today,"
"Rose? History isn't until last period, we've only just got into school,"
"He's over there if you want to talk to him," She head-nodded to where the computer that was set up nicely by the English classrooms. He was stood behind his two best friends Sam and Will who were playing some game. I just smiled at myself and looked at the ground.
"See, he makes you happy - therefore you need to talk to him,"
"No, he properly doesn't even like me,"
Rosie just looked at me and tutted her teeth, "You don't know until you talk to him,"
"Maybe in History, "
"Hmmm," I knew she didn't believe me.
"Anyway, change of subject, we need to have a sleepover soon!"
"This weekend?" Rosie asked me.
"I can't, it's Gi's birthday party Saturday and then her meal Sunday,"
"Next weekend?"
"Sure, I'll ask Gi after school,"
That's when the bell went.
Half way through form, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
It was the McBusted group chat I have on Whatsapp.
DrummerJudd has messaged in McBusted
I got my phone out and quickly put it under the table.
"Rosie, tell me when Sir looks in my direction of walks over to me,"
"Will do,"
I opened the message and felt like crying with happiness.
'Meet the new addition to the McFamily: Lola Emma Rose Judd,'
And underneath, Harry's sent a picture of Lola in the cot. She was asleep with a little pink hat on.
"Rose, look," I showed her the image, tears started to stream down my face but I quickly wiped them away.
"OMG! She's the cutest!"
I instantly put my hand up, "Sir, can I make a phone call, please? It's important,"
"What's so important?"
"I've forgotten my keys," I lied.
"Go on then,"
I left the room, smiling at Rosie and then closing the door.
I rang Harry.
Me - Are you busy at the moment?
Harry - Nope, just at the cafe.
Me - That's good. I'm so happy for you two. Lola's the cutest baby I've ever seen!
I felt a tear fall down my face.
Harry - Thank you, I've only just stopped crying.
He started to laugh
Me - I'm crying now, I've been counting down for this. I've got a calendar on my phone you know, to her due date.
Harry - Awww, you'll get to meet her after school if you like.
Me - I'd like that, thank you, Harry.
Harry - No problem, I'd better let you go and get back to class. I love you, Maddie.
Me - I love you too Harry.
I ended the call, and just smiled to myself while wiping away my tears.
Once, I made sure I wasn't red with crying anymore, I went back into form and saw Rosie lift her head up from the table and smile at me.
I just gave her a soft smile back and sat down in my seat.
"What'd Harry say?" She whispered to me.
"He said that I could meet her after school if I liked,"
"And are you?"
"Of course I am!" I laughed.
That's when the bell went.
"Off to English, we go!" I picked up my bag and headed to Room 44.
