Chapter 4

She pulled back. "Finn, what the heck?"

"Sorry, I didn't know what I was doing." He tried to explain, but before he could say anything, she kept talking.

"I'm going to go now." She said sternly then left him to wonder 'what the heck just happened'?

Way to go, Finn. Now she's not going to talk to you and you're never going to get her. Good going. He thought to himself. He laid back down on the bed and tried to blow off some steam, but it was impossible.

"General Organa!!" Rey shouted from across the room.

"Please. Call me Leia." She smiled and looked at Rey. Leia noticed that Rey has tears welling up in her eyes and was on the verge of breaking down.

"What's wrong?"

"Finn kissed me and I overreacted and left him. I don't know what to do now." She felt tears stream down her cheeks as Leia pulled her in for a hug.

"Go back and talk to him about it. That's what I would do." Leia told her while Rey smiled.

"Leia, I don't know if that's a good idea. I don't think he'll want to see me after what happened."

"Rey, trust me. I've been in a relationship like this before. Go talk to him."

Rey nodded and slowly walked back towards her room where Finn still was.

She slowly opened the door and saw him sitting on the bed with his face in his hands.

"Finn."

He looked up and saw her. He stood up and gave her the death stare for a few moments. The silence between them made it extremely awkward.

"I'm just going to say that I'm sorry for overreacting like that." Rey apologized.

"It's okay. I-i actually liked it." Those words stumbled out of his mouth. Did he actually say that? She probably doesn't feel the same way.

"I liked it too."

His eyes widen. Did she just say that she liked it too?

"You what?!?!"

"I liked it too." She said smiling. Did I just say that? She thought.

Finn smiled, walked over to her, gripped her waist, and kissed her.

Rey was surprised by this unexpected kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

At that moment, Poe walked in and saw their little moment of PDA.

"Hey Rey- Oh dear lord!!"

Finn and Rey broke the kiss laughing.

"Never thought I would ever see that." He said trying to get the image of them kissing out of his mind.

"Well you just saw it." Finn stated still having his hands gripped on Rey's tiny waist.

"Uh I was just here to let Rey know that General Organa needs to speak with you immediately."

Rey was surprised at what Poe had to say. Nothing so important has gone on lately that Leia would need to talk to her about.

"Where is she?"

"In her sleeping quarters."

"Thank you, Poe." She smiled and walked out of the room.

"Leia?"

Leia turned around saw Rey in the doorway.

"I see Poe got to you quickly." She smiled and motioned for her to come in.

Rey walked in. "I was told that you needed to talk to me."

"Yes. I do need to talk to you. I just found out about something personal and I need you to know so you can help me with us." Leia's tone made her sound happy, but worried at the same time. It made Rey worry a little bit too.

"What can I help you with?" Rey asked eager to know what Leia had to say.

"Well, it's about Han. Before the First Order was defeated, one do the resistance pilots found Han and took him into one of the ships. He was flown here with the pilots and was put into surgery. He hasn't woken up yet, but when he does, I won't know what to do." Leia was worried, but scared at the same time. There was hope that her husband was alive, but if he does wake up, she won't know what to do or what to say to him.

"So you're saying that Han is alive?!" Rey asked with wide eyes.

"Yes, Rey. Han is alive."

|| Hey!! Sorry I didn't update earlier today... I was competing in the ACSI Speech Meet and I was at my school for 4 hours hearing other speeches and having to stay thought the awards at the end. But, I finally had the chance to finish it and update!!

I hope you all the cliffhanger😉

Anyways, I'm going to start doing a QOTC (Question of the chapter) every time I update.
