Only Loving You || Finnrey

Chapter 12

It was a day of crying & sadness. Rey sat on the ground with her back against the log. Shivers were being sent up her spine as the temperature changed throughout the evening.

"Rey, we should head back."

She nodded and stood up, wiping her eyes as Finn engulfed her into a hug. He wrapped his arms tightly around her body and comforted her.

"Rey, I love you so much. Don't ever forget that. You are the most loving human in the galaxy." Finn whispered into her ear.

Rey pulled away and her eyes were swollen as a result of that much crying. 

"Babe, your eyes are swollen." Finn notified her and gently moved some hair out of her face making her blush.

"I know they're swollen because it's very painful." She barely croaked out. She was losing her voice with all the crying she had been doing.

"Rey, I know you're upset, and so am i. I love you so much. You're definitely the most amazing, beautiful, feisty, sarcastic, and cute woman I've ever come across." He pulled her into a hug again, holding her close.

She wrapped her arms around him again and felt the tears stream down her tear stained cheeks.

After Finn had cleaned up the small camp, he joined Rey in their tent. He offered to clean it up by himself so Rey wouldn't have to. He sat down on the ground next to her and put a hand on her back.

"You doing okay?"

"Trying."

He put his arms fully around her and pulled her onto his lap. She snuggled onto his chest forcing him to lay flat on his back. He kissed the top of her head and tightened his grip on her as Rey fell into a deep sleep.

Rey slowly opened her eyes and looked around. The swelling on her eyes had gone down which allowed her to see better. She sat up into a position that was straddling Finn. She leaned down and planted a soft kiss on his lips.

He opened his eyes the moment Rey's lips touched his. He put a hand on her waist and she pulled away, smiling.

"Good morning, beautiful." He whispered in his morning voice.

"Morning." Rey whispered back. She placed her lips on his again as she gently laid down so she was on top of him. He put his arms around her and she put her hands on his chest.

And in this moment, Finn realized he can't lose her. She kept him alive and helped him to stay positive. She was beautiful in every possible way and he was incredibly thankful for that.

He slowly pulled away and looked into those gorgeous eyes she had.

"Babe, is something wrong?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"No, everything is just right when I'm with you."
