Chapter 6

Rey walked back into the room where Finn and Poe were still cracking jokes. As she walked in, she heard laughter.

"Still cracking jokes?" She sighed.

"Yeah. Poe had some pretty good ones." Finn said while trying to keep in the laughter from that one downright funny one.

Poe laughed. "Should I say it?"

"Yes." Finn exclaimed while laughing.

"Old people at weddings would always poke me saying 'you're next'. So I started doing the same thing at funerals." Poe said while a tone of voice that was hilarious.

Rey felt herself starting to laugh until she couldn't hold it in. She burst out with laughter.

Finn laughed, but at the same time, he watched Rey.

He thought she was beautiful. Her laugh was adorable and cute. He was so glad that he met her on Jakku.

She caught him staring. "What are you staring at??" She said.

He blinked and looked away as Poe started cracking up.

"He's staring at you, Rey." Poe managed to get out while laughing make Finn turn bright red.

"Finn, you're bright red like a red pepper." Poe croaked laughing even harder.

Rey started laughing and walked over to Finn. She placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Finn, it's perfectly fine if you stare me in any way possible." Rey whispered in his ear then kissed his cheek.

Finn blushed again as Poe laughed.

Rey smiled as Finn wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Rey blushed as the alarm in the base went off. Poe's eyes widen.

"That's the alarm that signals evacuation. We gotta go." Poe quickly said as he ran out of the room leaving Finn and Rey in there.

Rey quickly grabbed some of her stuff and desperately tried to stuff it all in her bag. After succeeding, she grabbed Finns hand as they ran into the hallway. Pilots were running to their X- wings.

"Let's go get Leia, Luke, and chewy." Rey sort of yelled.

"Rey. I'll go find Chewbacca. You go get Leia. She's probably with Luke." Finn told before giving her a quick kiss.

Rey blushed. "Alright. I'll meet you at the falcon." Then they both went their separate ways.

Rey ran down the halls of the base frantically trying to find them. She ran outside to see Leia and Luke with R2-D2 and C3PO outside the falcon opening up the ramp.

"Rey!" Leia shouted.

Rey ran over to them. "Where's Han??" She whispered to her so the others wouldn't hear.

"Chewy is getting him. Where's Finn?"

"Looking for Chewy."

After, Rey quickly turned out to see Finn with chewy running towards the falcon. Chewy had Han with him, but he still was not awake yet. The ramp to the falcon opened up and they all ran inside the falcon. Halfway up, Rey hesitated and looked back before she ran back out.

"Rey, where are you going?!?!" Finn shouted towards her.

"BB8 is still in the base!!" Rey yelled back before disappearing into the large crowd of frantic people.

|| Hey. I'm terribly sorry that this chapter is so short!! It's the 11th hour and I don't have anymore time.

I'm also sorry for changed my updating schedule to only on Wednesdays. It'll give me more time to write. Hope you all understand.

I'm thinking about doing a little contest 😉 I'll let you guys know in a authors note tomorrow after I update.
