Almost in the double digits! I hope you will like this next chapter. Iris and Seamus are warming up to each other. Maybe something will happen in the next few chapters. I've looked forward to this year for a while. Enjoy.

Iris's Fourth Year:
With Neville, Dean, and Seamus by my side, we ran into the Great Hall as the heavy rain came down from the sky, soaking our cloaks. Finally, we reached the warmth and dryness that was our destination. I took off my cloak and sat in the rows of seats with the boys following behind me.
"I wish they could let people under seventeen enter," I said as I drained the rain water from my long, black hair.
"I'm bloody thankful they didn't," Dean responded.
"Me too," Neville agreed. I looked over at Seamus.
"What about you? Would you enter the Triwizard Tournament?" I inquired.
"I wouldn't mind," he answered, slightly shivering from the cold water that flooded his shoes. I looked at my surroundings.
"Hey, where's Nigel?" I asked Dean.
Dean looked around and shrugged. Soon enough I saw a small eleven-year-old boy running in from the pouring rain. He hurried over to us, a look of annoyance on the first year's face. Nigel Wolpert had been sorted into Gryffindor this year, and there was something about the boy that drew us towards him.
"You guys left me back there!" Nigel bellowed, the freezing rain water dripping from his strands of strawberry blond hair.
"Sorry," Dean sincerely apologized, "we thought you were right behind us."
Within the past month, we had learned enough about Nigel. One of the things we learned was that he was pureblood and was particularly good at magic for an eleven-year-old. He was also very interested in Quidditch, something that Seamus couldn't help but converse with him about everyday. On top of that, he was desperate to meet Harry Potter and had accepted Ron Weasley's offer to deliver his mail in return for an autograph.
"So Nigel, how are you enjoying Hogwarts so far?" Seamus asked.
Nigel couldn't help but smile. "It's brilliant."
"There's no better time for you to come to school then now," I informed him.
"How come?"
"Well, in our first year the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher was a dark wizard."
"And the year after that there was a muggle-born killing monster in the castle..." Neville added, scratching the back of his neck.
"Then last year there was a prisoner that sneaked into the grounds," Dean mentioned. Nigel's eyes widened in terror.
"But don't worry, all that's gone now," Seamus confirmed so Nigel wouldn't be scared. I don't think it made much of a difference.
We watched as the seventh and sixth years put their names in the Goblet of Fire. I wanted to be in the tournament so badly. Eternal glory, all those galleons I could be awarded with if I won. The tasks I'd have to face would be worth it all.
Cedric Diggory came rushing into the Great Hall with his friends. He approached the goblet and pulled out a small piece of parchment. Cedric looked at it and gulped, having second thoughts. A look of confidence overruled his doubt and he threw the slip of paper into the blue flames. His friends cheered for him along with a few students scattered around the Great Hall.
"Do you think Cedric would win if he got into the tournament?" I wondered.
"Maybe," said Seamus. "I wouldn't have thought he had wanted to risk his good looks." I laughed.
