The last chapter had 1k reads and now it has 2k which is awesome and exciting. I hope you like this chapter, I fixed everything, yay.

Never have I seen so many people with text books, parchment, and quills. Everyone had been studying for their finals. Fifth years were moving their heads back and forth, reading their history of magic text books as quickly as they could. The Great Hall was much more silent than it ever was. Studying was actually going on. I had done my studying last night but decided to cover more in my Herbology text book, that being my worst subject. I was going to ask Neville if he could help me out with it, but he was busy cramming information about potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.

In the corner of my eye, I spotted Lee Jordan. Usually, Lee would be with the twins since they were friends, except Fred and George weren't here. I assume they were getting ready for their prank. I was most likely correct. Approaching Lee, I set my herbology text book down and sat across from him. I pretended to read it just in case Umbridge or a teacher was looking.

"Fred and George told you about 'the plan,' am I correct?" I whispered while skimming through the printed paragraphs.

"Yeah," Lee responded. He pushed the eggs on his plate side to side. Lee looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. "When did they tell you?"

"Last night," I turned the page. "they left a note telling me to meet them in the common room. They broke the news to me then."

"Bloody brilliant, if I must say," Lee chuckled.

"Absolutely."

"They told me when they were going to tell you. I stayed up last night helping them pack. They told me you were considering leaving with them."

"Yeah . . . Is that all they told you?"

I was worried if Fred went on about nearly kissing me. I didn't want to think about it or deal with it. No matter what, I would always see Fred as my friend and nothing more.

"That's all they said." I held in my sighs of relief. "Remember, we're the only ones who know about this, so don't tell anyone, got it?"

"Of course."

Neville who was so nervous could barely function to do regular tasks. He kept dropping his knife and fork, he also stretched his arm too far, thus knocking over the marmalade. I quickly lifted up my book so it wouldn't get wet. Neville apologized to those around him. We couldn't blame him, we were all just as nervous and worried for the exams.

I helped clean it up and decided that I was no longer hungry. I reminded myself that if I ate, I'd be distracted by studying. If I was distracted by studying, I wouldn't remember anything for the exams. If I didn't remember anything for the exams, my life is pretty much over.

Now that I think about it, I'm probably over reacting.

I simply ate a piece of toast along with some eggs. The Great Hall slowly became louder and I couldn't concentrate. I decided to leave and study in a more quiet spot then return later for our O.W.L.s. In a rush, I walked away from the Gryffindor table and out the Great Hall. There were a pair of eyes watching me, I could feel them. It was Seamus's eyes. He quickly stood up from his spot at the end of the table and said something to me.

"Hey Iris," Seamus began. "do you have minute-?"

I keep on walking by but managed a response. "Can't right now." I reminded him, waving my herbology book. I left immediately, not taking the time to hear his answer.
