"Laur?" Lucas came in my room knocking but opening the door before I could even say come in.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Am I giving you a ride on Saturday?"
"Yep. Me, Katie, Carly, Heather and Chelsea."
"Wait, I didn't agree to all that."

He walked out my room and sighed. Saturday was Halloween and it was also the night of the Halloween dance at my school. I was looking for costumes for like 2 weeks. I wanted to win best costume! I knew all the girls were going to wear the usual things; bunny rabbit, witch, sexy kitten, cop, vampire, etc. But I wanted to be different! I wanted to wear something nice and creative. So I came up with the idea that all of my friends and I should dress up as Disney princesses, but with our own twist to it. For instance I'm dressing up as Jasmine from Aladdin, but instead of wearing her blue attire I'll be wearing purple and instead of the head garb that she was wearing I'll be wearing a crown. So I'm changing her look without changing her. It's cool and creative.

"Why do you want to go to Miami? In the middle of the school year?" My mom asked still amused.

"Are her parents going to be there?" My mom asked.

"You practically live at our house anyways," I said laughing "but why what's up?"
"I'm pretty sure my mom already called yours, but just a heads up my mom and dad are going to China for all of November to do mission work with their company. And what better place to stay than with my second family?!"
