"Wahhh! wahhhh!" Jamilah's crying for the thousanth time.

"What?! I've fed you, changed your diaper and put you to sleep why are you crying?!" Joan screams. "It's ok sweetheart," Rob says. "Come on girls let's take Jamilah for a walk," he says.

Taylor and I leave with Rob afraid to get chewed up.

We walk around the block and go to the store for a drink and a bag of chips. Jamilah soon stops crying and we take her to the park.

She marvels at everything with her big brown eyes. Making little babbling sounds at the sight of a bird or other children playing.

Taylor and I sit on the swings swinging and talking.

After she's fallen asleep we take Jamilah back home.

Joan is on the couch watching cooking shows. Rob gives her a kiss before taking Jamilah to her room to sleep.

Taylor and I cook dinner. Rice and fried fish.

Everyone tucks in hungrily commenting our cooking skills.

We all go to the mall next. After an hour of pointless browsing we decide to go bowling.

We have to wait a while but soon we're all taking turns in bowling.
Rob wins, me in second and Taylor in last.

We all get Smoothies and a pretzel later and go to my mom's grave.

I look at it.

Here lies the mother of Kimberly Weatherhead and wife of Joe Weatherhead.

I kneel in front her grave tears rolling down my cheeks as I place flowers on her grave.

"I miss you mom," I whisper.

Joan, Rob and Taylor give me a hug and I let all my pain go.

Jamilah cries with me and I laugh gently wiping away my tears and holding her giving her a kiss and telling her it's ok.

Somehow it comforts me also and I know it is ok. I have a new family who love me and care for me.

I guess dreams really do come true.
