Grayson's POV
I think I scared her by saying that but I meant to scare her. Everyone that gets around me ends up getting hurt and I don't want that to happen to her. After awhile of her sitting there speechless she finally spoke up .

"I'm not scared."

"You should be."

"I'm not. I'd like to know more about you. Why do you think I should be scared of you! Why are you trying to push me away?!"

"Because all I'm good for is hurting people and I can't stand to see you get hurt!"

"Well, you won't hurt me."

"How do you know that?"

"Because if you wanted to hurt me you would've already done it."

Suddenly I heard a crack and I noticed the ledge was about to break off.

The ledge gave way and I grabbed ahold of Violet  and held her into my chest. I jumped out to the side so we wouldn't get squished by the broken ledge as it fell. We finally hit he ground and she screamed. I landed on my back. I got the air knocked out of me but I would be fine. She raised up from my chest and her eyes widened.

"Y-you saved me. Thank you."

"No problem."

Violet's POV

About two and a half hours later I decided I should probably head back home.

"I had a nice time talking to you. Maybe we could talk tomorrow?"

"Sure. I enjoyed today too."

"Okay, where should we meet up?"

"How about we take a walk through the woods tomorrow and talk?"

"Sounds good. I'll meet you here?"

"Yep! Around 2:30pm?"

"I'll be here."

"Okay."

With that I walked out the door and went over to my house.

I walked inside and Diana and my sister where setting on the couch. Diana had a worried and rude look on her face. They where sitting there in silence. I shut the door to break the silence and Diana turned around and glared at me.

"Where have you been young lady!"

"Out."

"Out where? Doing what!"

"Since when did you start to care?"

"Since I'm in charge of you two little brats. If anything was to happen to you I would be arrested and accused of whatever happened to you two."

"Like you care what happens to either one of us."

"Yes I care, now go to your room, you're grounded!"

"Since when are you making the rules? You aren't the boss of me, my parents are and you definitely aren't my mom!"

"I make the rules since your mom and dad aren't home and until they pull into the driveway you're under my rules. Now go to your room, now!"

I ran upstairs and slammed my door. I looked out he window over at Grayson's house and saw him looking at me through one of the upstairs window. I frowned and waved. He waved back to me. I opened my window and he did the same. We talked for a few minutes and my plans where to sneak out tomorrow through my window and Grayson was supposed to come help me get down safely. I told Grayson I should probably get ready for dinner now that it was around 5:00pm.
