Violet's POV

I woke up on the big blanket I packed. I sat up and looked around. Grayson wasn't beside me. I looked around then got up. I stood up soapy and I instantly felt pain from my knee.

I looked around and they I heard laughing and splashing. He's probably swimming by the waterfall. I walked over by the waterfall and there Grayson was. He was jumping off a rock. He was having fun.
I like seeing him happy like this.

He looked up and smiled at me. The n he started running towards me. He reached me and gave me a hug. He was still wet which made my clothes soaking wet.

"Grayson you got me wet!"

"That's the point."

"I'm gonna get you!"

"Okay whatever you say."

I love his laugh. He doesn't do it very often.

"I'll get you when my knee isn't hurt or something."

"Yeah yeah okay."

"I'm serious."

"Me too."

I playfully pushed him and we bother started laughing.

"When do we have to leave?"

"Whenever you want to. Wait, are you wanting to leave?"

"I don't want to leave, I could stay here forever but I'll have to go home sometime soon."

"Same, I could stay here forever, with you."

I smiled/blushed and looked down at my feet and fiddled with my hands. He grabbed the side of my cheeks with his hands.

"Hey don't hide your smile, it's beautiful."

I blushed and we slowly both leaned in. This is it. My first kiss. Our lips met. His lips let mine and the kiss lasted only for a few minutes but I enjoyed it.

We both pulled out of the kiss slowly.

"Was this your first kiss?"

"Was it that bad?"

"No! No no no! It was great I was just wondering."

"Well yeah, it was."

"I'm glad I was your first kiss."

"Me too."

We ended up hugging each other for a while. Grayson went back to swimming. I wanted to swim but my leg got in the way of that.

"If you what to come in I could hold you, you wouldn't hurt your leg that way. Just put on a water proof band-aid and come in."

"No I don't want you to have to hold me the whole time. I'll be okay, I'll watch you swim."

"Don't make me come out and get you."

"Fine just give me a few minutes."

"Okay."

"Grayson can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"You bit me last night, does that mean I'm a vampire now?"

"No! There's more to that to becoming a vampire."

"Oh, well one day maybe you should change me."

"Would you really want a life like this?"

"Yeah, it's not like my parent care for me anyway."

"Well you have a sister don't you?"

"Yeah she's five, the only one who cares about me out of my family."

"Hey, don't say that I'm sure they love you, they just might not know how to show it."

"I don't know, I'd like to be a vampire one day possibly, if you're willing to change me."

"If I did, you wouldn't be able to have a normal life."

"Who says I want normal?"
