Violet's POV

Today is a Sunday morning and my parents are supposed to be coming home today.

They haven't been home for a whole month. I doubt they miss me but I miss them. My mom and I had a really close "mother and daughter" relationship before she got so busy with work. My dad has always been busy working so we don't get to talk that much. I wake up for school and he's already gone to work, I come home from school and he comes home at 7:00pm so there isn't much time.

I was thinking about Grayson too. I would text him some but since yesterday we haven't talked. My knee is doing a lot better since yesterday.  There is a bite mark from Grayson but it feels and looks a lot better. I decided to check up and Grayson by texting him.

V= Violet G= Grayson

V: Hey
G: Hey
V: Are you okay?
G: Yeah why?
V: Idk I was just wondering, we haven't talked since yesterday and I was checking on you.
G: Yeah I'm fine, I've just been busy, stocking inventory.
V: Inventory?
G: Food.
V: Oh okay. Need any help?
G: Well if you want to see what I eat or whatever then sure.
V: Your house next door right?
G: I'll come get you outside your window.
V: Okay.

A few minutes later Grayson arrived. I climbed out my window with my phone in my back pocket. I slowly climbed out my window but I slipped and I fell out of my window and knew I would hit the ground. I was wrong Grayson caught me.

"T-thanks f-for catching me."

"Anytime."

He slowly put me back down on my feet and we inter winded fingers and walked to his house.

"I think we missed your house, where are we going?"

"To my actual house, that was just my secret hideout basically."

"Oh okay."

We continued walking up his house. We finally came up on a mansion which was his house I'm guessing.

"Here drink this."

He handed me a small glass bottle that had who knows what I'm it. It was a clear substance and u was kind of scared to drink it.

"Don't be scared."

Did I just say that out loud?

"Yes and no. I can read your mind alto didn't really say it out loud. By the way that's potion is so no one can compel you. Compel means for someone to tell you to do something or whatever and they make you do it."

"Okay."

I downed the drink and I looked at Grayson and smiled. He smiled back and we walked to the front door. Grayson opened the door and I saw a lot of people in his house.

I looked around and heard speaking.

"Well well well who do we have here."

All of a sudden Grayson pushed me behind me and we walked upstairs I'm guessing to his room?

I heard mumbling and I saw a dresser. Definitely not his room.

"Ready to get started?"

"I guess."

He opened up a closet door and I saw two people sitting there. Their eyes widened as they saw me. My eyes widened too as I saw who they where.

"M-mom? D-dad?"

Grayson gave me a weird look and shut the door back.

All of a sudden my eyes closed and my body fell limp. Then it was total darkness.
