Violet's POV
I kept trying to turn my phone on even though I knew it went dead. I started breathing heavy, I guess you could say I'm not good with scary things. I'm terrified of any scary movies or anything scary. I looked around for a light switch and I found one. I went to turn it on and then I heard a voice, a mans voice. "Don't turn that on!" Okay now I'm really scared!

"Who are you?"

"Shouldn't you be saying what are you?"

"What are you?"

"The names Grayson ."

He stepped out from hiding behind stuff and walked towards me.

"Don't get any closer!"

"Aren't you the one who came into my house?"

"This is where you live?"

He stopped talking after I asked him that. He got face to face with me, I could feel him breathing on me he was so close. "You shouldn't be here." After he said that he vanished. What is he? Why wouldn't he answer my questions?

I quickly exited the house and ran next door to my house. As I was running to my house I bumped into a little girl. That little girl happened to be my sister. "Did you go trick-or-treating by yourself?" She nodded her head. "You're too young to be out here alone by yourself! Where is Diana?" (Diana is the babysitter)
She pointed to the house and we walked over to the porch.

My sister and I entered our house. I laid her bucket of candy on the kitchen table and grabbed a sucker out of it and threw the wrapper away. I went into the living room and saw the babysitter passed out on the couch. Wow. I turned off the tv she was watching and went upstairs.

I helped my little sister Avery get undressed and I gave her a bath. She maybe 5 years old but she still needs help bathing sometimes. Ive stepped up and became a better sister now that my parents aren't around very much. They are currently in Hawaii for a business trip. They are supposed to be coming home in the next couple of days.

I helped Avery to bed and tucked her in. She the little kid that needs tucked in and handed her stuffed animals before bed. I handed her "Ellie" the elephant and "George" the monkey. I kissed her on her forehead goodnight and turned on her nightlight as I walked out of her room.

I walked into my bathroom and took off my cat makeup. I went into my room after wards and changed into some pajamas. I went over to my night stand and put my phone on its charger. I went over and turned the light off and snuck back over to my bed and went under the covers. I heard my phone buzz which lets me know my phone came back on from being dead. I went onto my phone and looked to see if I had and missed calls or texts from my parents. Nothing. Why does it surprise me, they even forgot my birthday last year. Yeah I know sounds bad right. I doubt they will remember it this year too. I also haven't heard from my friends the whole night.

10:45pm

I got off my phone and set it on my nightstand. I turned over and thought about what I saw tonight. What could he have been? Will I ever see him again? How did he just vanish?

I slowly felt my eyes get heavy and then it was complete darkness.
