Violet's POV

We just pulled back into our driveway from eating at the pizza place. I'm so full. I shouldn't have ate that much but I did.

It was 6:00pm and it was almost time for Grayson's to come over. I told my mom he would be here any minute and she nodded. I ran upstairs and grabbed my "over night" bag and ran back downstairs with my stuff and waited.

At 6:30pm exactly Grayson knocked on the door. I told him to meet me at the front door. I opened the door up and there he stood. He looked.....wow. (Picture above)

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah."

We finally got to our camping spot and I helped Grayson set up the tent. We failed many times.

"How does this even work?"

"I have no clue."

About an hour later we finally sat it up.

"We finally got it!"

"I'm so glad!"

"Me too, so now what?"

"It's your birthday what do you want to do?"

"Hmm, I don't know. What did you have planned?"

"I brought some board games, while it's daylight still we could go hiking, I don't really know."

"Could we go on an adventure?"

"Of course, it's your birthday after all."

"Thank you Grayson."

"For what?"

"This, everything, thank you."

"Anytime."

I kissed him and he slowly kissed back. The sound of twigs breaking interrupted us. I looked around. Grayson looked worried but we went back to kissing again when I felt something fly by really fast.

"Hold on tight."

"What?"

"Hold on to me."

I did what he said an he flew through the air and up into a tree.

"Grayson?"

"S-someone's coming for us."

"I'm scared Grayson."

"I'll keep you safe. Stay here. Don't come down until I tell you okay?"

"Please don't leave m-"

"Listen to me Violet, in order for me to protect you I need you to listen to me."

"O-okay."

He vanished after I spoke. I looked around and my foot slipped and I almost fell off the tree limb. Soon I heard shouting. I looked around and the sun started going down.

It's been a few hours and I haven't heard anything from Grayson. I was really getting restless so I decided to climb down and look for Grayson.

"Grayson?"

"Grayson, please come here, I'm scared."

"You should be princess."

This isn't Grayson, it was someone else.

I felt someone throw me over there shoulder and I screamed for Grayson. I saw him mad he just stood there.

"Grayson, please help me!!!!"

He just stood there and stared at me being carried away from him and he stood there.

I soon blacked out.
