12. Stefan

Part 2: Since you was marked by the vampire hunter, you had been running for years having no contact with your boyfriend until you finally see him. (If you haven't seen the first it's in "9. Stefan")

"Oh my god thank you so much." I say rubbing my chest. I was at a witch who has been giving me some type of flower for my hunters mark to make it disappear for a while, but my wound will be re-opened soon. She has been giving me these for years and they have done wonders.

The lady witch gave me a whole jar of the flowers and smiles at me, "Good luck. Come back anytime darling." She says nicely.

I grab the jar and nodded, "Thank you." I say softly. I turn around walking towards my car, I open my car door and climbed inside. I sigh leaning against the drivers seat closing my eyes.

It has been years ever since I've became marked by the vampire hunter, I have been doing so much these past years to have my mark covered up, and no contact with my closes friends that were vampires. I didn't want them to have no contact with me, especially Stefan. I didn't want to put him at risk, I don't want anyone at risk. Rayna is dangerous.

I have been living in New York for about a few months now, I have been living in every state for a few months until I'll have to travel some place else to be more safe. Running away as been so hard on me, especially that I'll have to do this on my own. I was so use to doing everything with my boyfriend Stefan, all these years I have been declining his calls, I hear his voicemails and I just die inside. I miss his presents, his hugs, his warmth I miss every single trace about him.

I get out of my car walking into a Gas Station, I walk in the store looking around. I hum softly grabbing a few bags of munchies and energy drinks to take back to my apartment. I look to my side, then I look away and realizing who I just saw. My eyes widen trying not to look at that direction, I quickly grab my things walking up to the counter and grabbing my wallet pulling out a $10 bill.

"Y/N?" I hear his soft voice from across the store.

I sigh taking a quick glance at him, I walk out of the gas station and towards my car.

I felt the wind blow slightly as I see him appear in front of my car door. "Stefan why are you here?" I say nervously not trying to make eye contact with him. Looking at him will make my body rush all over me and just jump ontop of him and tell him how much I missed him.

"I didn't know I will run into you, I just wanted to be in New York and explore a bit." He says softly looking down at me. "Please look at me Y/N..."

I bit onto my lower lip, I finally turn my head looking up at him. His beautiful green eyes piercing into my eyes, "You have to go."

Stefan shakes his head quickly, he grips onto my cheeks with his hands pulling my closer to him. Then he places his lips tenderly against my lips, I gasp softly as my eyes widen once he kissed me. I calm down a bit missing the feeling of his soft lips against mine, I pull him closer kissing him back.

I pull away breathing heavily, "I miss you so much..." I say softly reaching my hands to the back of his neck playing with his hair.

Stefan smiles looking at me and nods slowly, "I miss you more." Then he looks away from me, he quickly turns me around as I can see a sword penetrate through his heart.

I gasp loudly as my eyes immediately start to tear, "No no Stefan no." I say sobbing slightly.

He looks at me slowly sinking himself down to the ground. "G-Go. I love you..."

I set him on the ground gently, I look at the vampire hunter I have been chasing away from for years. Now she's finally here ready to finish what she has started from me. "Go ahead, get it over with Rayna." I say angrily, I clench my jaw holding onto Stefan's lifeless body in my arms.

Rayna chuckles slightly reaching the sword towards me, "Wow you've made my life just easy Y/N. Sorry about what happened to your boyfriend, it's part of my job."

I grip the sword as it easily makes my hands start to bleed, I move it away from her throwing it to the side. I get up quickly sprintig towards Rayna throwing her onto the ground as I climb on top of her throwing punches on her cheeks left to right.

She pulls out a pistol full of wooden bullets shooting me three times on my stomach.

I groan loudly falling onto the ground laying exactly beside Stefan's body, I gasp trying to catch my breathe realizing this is finally it.

The vampire hunter walks up to me and smirks, she places the tip of the sword exactly where my hunter mark is at. "Have fun in hell Y/N"

I look away from Rayna as I look beside me seeing Stefan. I'll always love you...
