7. Kai

You and Kai are having drinks at his house and he confesses his feelings for you.

I grab the bottle of bourbon from Kai's hand as I pour some in my glass. "You could've just asked for it nicely", he says smirking.

I roll my eyes as I place the bourbon down at the table, I place the edge of the glass between my lips as I take a sip of the strong drink. "I know, but you always hog it up so.."

Me and Kai has been friends for quite a while now, I known him at his best and also worst days. He is known at the sociopathic leader of the Gemini Coven. I was there when he performed the merge which his brother Luke. I witnessed everything, even though I should've stopped him, I couldn't because he put a spell on me to stay still and not to move an inch while doing the merge. Everyone hates Kai, including me since I've been by his side the whole time.

Kai looks at me and shakes his head, he lifts his hand up and clenches his fist slightly. Then all of a sudden my glass breaks out of my hand, I wince loudly as my hand started to bleed because of the shattered glass. "What the hell Malachai."

He scoots closer to me from the couch and grabs my wrist, "I didn't mean to hurt you, I'm sorry." he says softly forgetting that I'm an ordinary human that I get hurt easily.

I frown slightly pulling my hand away from it worrying that me might cause more damage to my cut hand.

Kai grabs my wrist again roughly, he closes his eyes as he started to say a spell. Kai has a habit of hurting people and doesn't feel no remorse, but he has been working really hard trying to be on his best behavior and learn how to know what is right and wrong. He's been learning a lot from me, I help him. But he forgets how to control himself and he hurts me without meaning to.

I look down at my hand seeing that the wound Kai has disappeared that he caused is now healed. I pull my hand away slowly from him as I trace my thumb against my palm where the wound was at. "Thanks" I say lowly and scoot away from him.

Kai forces a smile and grabs the bottle of bourbon taking a sip. "Hey um Y/N"

I look up at him and raise an eyebrow "yeah?"

He scoots closer to me and sighs, "I have been hiding something.."

"What do you mean Kai? Please don't tell me you did something horrible."

"No no. I haven't trust me"

"Okay, what is it?"

Kai looks at me and grabs my hand slowly. Then he softly strokes his thumb against my hand, "I'm in love with you."

My jaw drops slightly as I hear the words come out of his mouth, Kai? In love? That's impossible for me to take in.

Kai frowns noticing me that I haven't said a word, "great. I should've never said anything." he says sternly. Then he gets up from the couch storming out of the living room.

I shake my head watching him leave, I quickly get up a few seconds later catching up to him. "Kai." I say softly, I reach my hand up to his shoulder and touched it lightly for him to turn around and face me.

"Just say you don't feel the same already!" He snaps turning around quickly and grips my wrist.

I gasp looking at him trying to prey his hand off of my wrist, "you're freaking hurting me!" I snap as well.

Kai softens up a bit as he quickly lets go of me, "Y/N please forgive me. I'm just I-"

I pull my wrist away as I rub it gently, I slowly reach my hands up to him. I gently place my hands on his cheeks making him look at me, "I understand. You're still changing Kai, and I'm still willing to help you no matter how many times you hurt me by accident. I can handle it" I say softly. I pull him close to me, I wrap my arms around his neck. "because I am in love with you too..."

Kai holds me tightly pulling me into a tight embrace. He hold me tighter as he heard the words he's been waiting for, "you do?"

I nodded slowly, I close my eyes and inhale his scent. I pull away and look at him, "yes"

Kai smiles and relaxes himself. "I'll do my best to change who I am for you Y/N. You are the love of my life..."
