11. Enzo.

You and Enzo go to prom.

"I swear this was a last minute dress Bonnie, are you sure he's going to like it?" I say looking at myself in the mirror as Bonnie was in the other side of my room getting ready herself.

Bonnie turns around walking over to me as she fixes my hair up, then she looks down at my dress and nodded slowly. "Woah Y/N you should be my prom date." She said laughing after her comment.

I laugh along with her and shake my head, "I'm shocked that Enzo asked me, first of all he doesn't go to our school, second of all he's like 300 years old and wants to experience these types of things which is cute and third, I wasn't even planning to go and I had to get a last minute dress and I feel like I'm going to vomit, I'm nervous what if he doesn't like this dress on me and-"

Bonnie grips onto my arms and shakes me, "Enough Y/N. He's seriously in love with you. I can tell, after Damon introduced you to him, he hasn't stop drooling over you since. So shut up, you'll have an amazing time and he will fall even more in love with you with that dress on." She said quickly and gives me a playful wink.

I roll my eyes and I hear a knock on the door, " That's Enzo, and Jer?"

"Jeremy is coming later, he's at work. But go have fun." Bonnie says pushing me out of the room gently.

I laugh slightly as I held my purse with my hand, I walk down the stairs carefully hoping I won't drip on my dress. I walk over to the front door and open it seeing Enzo in a tux, woah he looked really good. "Hey.."

Enzo's eyes widen a bit, then he lips form into a smirk looking down at me "You look ravishing darling." He said gently.

I smile looking into his eyes, "You look great." I step outside closing my front door. I look ahead of me seeing a limo parked in front of my house, "Are you kidding me?" I say under my breathe as I slowly walk towards the car.

Enzo chuckles sprinting towards the car opening the door, "I know. A little bit too much just for a silly prom but, it's just for you and I'll like to experience this as well." He says to me gesturing his hand to let me go inside the car.

I can feel the breeze rush all over my body while Enzo sprints towards the car. I roll my eyes finally standing in front of Enzo, I grab his hand gently as he guides me inside of the limo.

Me and Enzo has been friends for a while, once Damon introduced me to him. We just clicked, he rapidly grew feelings for me, but I never admit to him or anyone that I had feeling for him. I was too scared to get too attached to him and fall for him, he was dark, dangerous, strong, very handsome, and his deep British accent was to die for. Plus he's a vampire, I wouldn't want to become one just for Enzo. I'll maybe consider it in the future, but not now. I don't want to deal with vampire drama right now, I'll like to live a human life.

Once me and Enzo got to prom, I wrap my arm around his as he leads me inside of the school gym. We had a few punch, some snacks at the table and said hi to our few friends well mine. But of course Damon just went to watch over us, and Stefan with Elena and so on. Me and Enzo was just chatting a bit sitting down at a table as we watch everyone else, yes I get nervous when I'm around him. I know he can sense it, so he takes things easy on me. But he does know that I never admit my feelings for him, I know he's waiting.

Enzo stands up once he hears a slow song come up, he reaches his hand down to me and smiles "Come dance with me darling, to break the ice a bit.".

I swallow slightly and grab his hand gently as I stand up from the chair. He lead me to the dance floor and we stop. he wraps his hand around me and held my hand up pulling me closer to him.

I look up at his setting my hand on his shoulder as we sway our bodies to the soft music in the background. "Sorry about the way I am tonight..."

Enzo shakes his head and smirks, "It's okay. I get like that when I'm around you as well, no need for the apology." He said softly looking down at me

I look away from him and nodded, I then look back at him biting onto my lower lip. "I love you." I blurt out to him quickly. I realize what I just said, I pull away as my eyes widen. "Oh god."

I quickly turn around wanting to leave, all of a sudden Enzo grabs my arm gently twirling me around quickly pulling me back, then once I land in front of him he places his soft lips against mine. I gasp against the kiss, I soften up a bit closing my eyes kissing him back. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me.

All of a sudden all my friends crowd around us clapping and cheering. "Finally Y/N!" I hear Bonnie yell.

We pull away looking around as we broke into laughter. I shake my head, I look up at Enzo placing my thumb against his lips wiping the lipstick off gently. I do love him, I just don't have a little crush on him, I fell in love with him and now I'm not ashamed to say it.

"I love you Y/N" Enzo whispers to me as he pulls me into a tight hug.

Guess who was prom King and Queen? Not us sadly, but he is my king and I will be his queen.
